Fancy test-driving a brand new Ford for three weeks over Christmas? If you do, then please sign up using this link.

Everyone who signs up will be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten £50 John Lewis vouchers.

And if you're selected for the test-drive, you'll get £100 John Lewis vouchers in addition to motoring in a new Ford with all mod cons.

Good luck,
MNHQ

The guy who delivered my car came from Cambridge and was aiming to be at mine by 12 but arrived just after 4 he then had to get a cab back to the station and train to a few towns away to pick up another car to drive home.
I have decided that delivering cars is not the career for me

Swagger did the car arrive?

Did you get instructions about the video diary? Am nervous about that bit too!!

I am giving the guy a lift to the station 3 miles away cos I feel sorry for him! Mind you if he arrives late I will be out Christmas shopping and only dh will be in with the dc's so won't be able to...

She finally arrived at 9.30pm, still in good humour. I took her to the station, we had checked trains and it seemed that they were running to Victoria OK and from there on. I gave her strict instructions to ring me if she was stuck at the local station, but have not heard so hope she gets home OK. Her daughter is a Mumsnetter apparently, so whoever is Sue from Ford's daughter... your Mum is completely fab . Car is lovely, goodies were a nice touch. There are instructions about what they want us to video, sounds straight forward. Just hope what we film is not so crap that they can't show it! Probably won't use car first thing, don't even know where the lights are and have to leave for work at 5.30am. Will check it out when I am get back and take the kids out in the afternoon. They are so excited. Off to bed now, been wrapping presents.

Glad she arrived safely in the end!

Ours is due anytime now but he reckoned he could make it from Cambridge to Edinburgh in 5.5 hours to get here by 9am but by my calculations it will take 6-7 hours min! (and that's without all the snow!)

well we've had our first trip out in ours, and done our first bit of filming. spent last night reading the manual so was kind of ok with what was what, but my god there are a blimmin lot of buttons! managed to sort it all out though. demisted windows, got heaters on, radio on for us, dvd on for dd, back seats down ready for big shop going in the boot and off we went!

so first impressions..well it is HUGE!! that took some getting used to, compared with my little clio. also took a while to get to grips with the screens and all those buttons. screens for everything, dash board, radio and climate control. no dials like i'm used to. apparently it seems to have voice control..can just see dd having fun with that! anyway, i bumbled my way through and got to tesco. quite pleased with my little self!

how are the rest of you managing with snow..now your cars have finally got to you? not too much here, all pretty much melted. not sure i'd want to be test driving with a load of snow around. you all going to be ok?

Well i braved it in the ice for my first drive of the s max.
Took DH for morral support in case i didnt know what to do .
I'm pleased to say i managed to drive it in the ice and snow and i must admit it fely REALLY good.
We fitted both car seats in the car and off we went.
I drove to the supermarket and got our christmas food shop and my mums and there was still space in the boot to put a baby elephant!!!
I'm used to a decent sized boot with my Scenic but this was a different league.
It felt safe and well grounded and very responsive to the steering wheel movements
unlike my scenic.
I'm so in love with the car....please Mr. Ford can we keep it?Please pretty please .
Still to do the video as i didnt think it would be good to see me swearing like a trooper on the ice .

SOS - how does the DVD work? Got it working, now it won't work. Think it was a fluke first time, can't find any instructions, kids are driving me nuts . Got the headphones going OK, first time got both screens on, then only one screen.
