This is the feedback thread for the MN users who tested Laundrapp home delivery laundry service.

Here’s what Laundrapp has to say:
“No one likes doing their laundry - it just sits there, piling up and looking at you, waiting to be done.So, why not show your kids’ laundry the finger - by tapping for a collection on the Laundrapp app. We’ll collect, clean, fold and deliver your laundry back to you in as little as 48 hours. We also take care of dry cleaning and ironing, giving you countless hours back to your day. And with our contact-free delivery option, you can access our service from the safety of your home. Whether it’s suits and shirts, bedding and towels or endless piles of clothes that are bringing you down, we’ve got your back. And if that’s not awesome enough - collection and delivery is absolutely FREE!”


Testers, please give your feedback by answering the questions below as well as completing the survey that we have emailed you:

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?
  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?
  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?
  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

All testers who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where two lucky testers will each win a £100 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Placed order via the app - very easy to use and quick

Ordered ‘the nine to five’ - 2 piece suit and five shirts, plus a pair of trousers, all for less than £30

Very satisfied with the service - pick up and drop off both on time, no issues at all.

Clothes look very well dry cleaned!

Can’t think of anything to change and would deffo recommend to a friend. Thanks Laundrapp!

Thanks everyone for taking part in this service test and sharing your feedback. We've got a message for you from Laundrapp:

"Thank you very much to all the Mumsnet users who tried our service and left valuable feedback. We’re so pleased that many of you found the experience to be straight-forward and convenient, giving you precious time back in your busy lives!

We’d like to address some points made by some users and provide a bit of additional information about our service which we hope you will find useful.
Due to COVID-19 we are running a slightly reduced service in some areas, so you may not see as many time slots as usual, but we’re re-opening more every week as things start to return to normal.
Ordinarily in Central London we have availability throughout the day from 7am to 11pm, 6 days a week (with 7am to 5pm on Saturdays), meaning we can fit in with most schedules!
Our usual turnaround time is 48 hours although this may be extended in some areas due to COVID-19. We’re hoping to resume normal service soon, and we’re pleased to announce that we will be introducing a 24 hour express service later this year.
We offer two main types of service. Our laundry service is charged by the bag and items are separated by colour, washed at 30C, tumble dried, then folded. Any items that aren’t selected for this service are charged individually, and will be processed according to the care label (or expertise of the cleaner, if there is no label). This second service includes dry cleaning, high temperature washes and so forth, and includes pressing or ironing of the item as standard.
A number of users asked about the option to have bio washing powder. We currently use non-bio as standard for those customers with sensitive skin, but as a result of your feedback we’ll be looking to see if we can introduce the choice to have bio.
All of our drivers have been trained to follow social distancing guidelines, wear PPE when carrying out a collection or drop off, and disinfect their hands regularly. You can also request a completely contact-free service where your items are left on your doorstep or in a safe place. Simply make a note of your request in the delivery instructions box when placing your order.

The experience of our customers is of utmost importance to us, and on the rare occasion that something goes wrong we’re very keen to investigate the matter to put it right. Equally when a customer has had a great experience and has provided wonderful comments about one of our drivers, we’d love to be able to pass on this feedback and recognise them for a job well done.
