I'm going away on Friday 4th, but can do the Monday or Wednesday. But if the Friday is better for everyone else, I'll skip this one and come to the next one. Surfermum, you're fairly close to me, I'm in Colehill.

Report
Kittypickle · 24/01/2005 18:26

Wed is good for me. Starry, you'd better be on my route to Bournemouth or I will get hopelessly lost !

Report
Merlin · 24/01/2005 18:32

Oh bother - can't make Wed - already booked. Never mind I'll make the next one!

Report
starry · 24/01/2005 19:40

should we book a table somewhere? Just worried that we could end up wandering round undecided where to eat and not finding somewhere free - esp. if there are a few of us?

bunny2 · 24/01/2005 20:15

Wednesday it is then - fingers crossed everyone can make it. We could book - the Alcatraz is nice for pizza and pasta, the Eye of the Tiger does fab Indian food, dont know a good Chinese though, any preferences? Or there is a Mexican too but I havent been there for years.

Merlin, sorry you are already booked - we are so close we should meet at the playground in Kings Park - how old are/is your children/child?

so is it going to be Wednesday the 2nd then? that's fine with me. I'm quite happy to pick anyone up (including random single men in Bournemouth!!!? as I'm unable to drink . I don't mind where we eat either but just to add there is Tapas Ariba in the Square and Oriental Views. I like mexican but I think the one on Bmth has gone down hill a bit if it's the same one you were thinking of Bunny (Corianders?) ASK is quite good too but you can't book.

bunny2 · 25/01/2005 18:51

DelGirl, Corianders is the one I waas thinking of - havent been there in years but have fond memories of a drunken night in there. Where is Oriental Views? IS that by the IMAX?

Hi Bunny . It's on old xchurch road near eye of the tiger. Usually go there with the girls for birthdays etc. Or there's the mandarin also on old xchurch road which is really nice too.

DelGirl · 25/01/2005 18:59

got put off by corianders last time I went cos the service wasn't very good and they started cleaning with really really strong bleach while we were there and it wasn't late but you could hardly breathe for the fumes. There used to be one at the triangle but I don't know if it's still there.

Kittypickle · 25/01/2005 19:09

DH and his work lot went to Corianders recently and really enjoyed it, but as they hadn't been before I guess they didn't have any comparison. I am happy to go anywhere Delgirl, I am going to SW in half an hour, if I don't chicken out. Can't say I'm looking forward to this clapping business, but I will grit my teeth.

Yes, and all the saying how much you're going to try to lose next week, and the raffle tickets and the teams with the points. I will stop there as I am putting myself off......

go on, go. I should really but maybe just not yet. I'm sure you'll be fine, it's a good programme and less happy clappy than ww imho. Just think of Marjory in little britain lol

Delgirl, after the Salsa Bar and the Olive Grove I totally trust your judgement (DH and co had probably had far much to drink to notice where they were )
