Quote from Griffin in complaint to the BBC about the 'lynch mob' he feels he faced on QT last night.

Beggars belief.

I nearly posted that, but thought the phrase "I'd like to get hold of Nick Griffin's DNA" could perhaps be misinterpreted with vomitworthy consequences.

I may be imagining this, but didn't someone do a look into one of the BNP leader's history, and find that they had a black ancestor? I will get googling on this.

Okay, apparently Nick is descended from www.nowpublic.com/world/bnp-leader-gypsies

I'll try again: gypsies

He's against any primary sex ed . As my DDs only just entering yr 6 I don't know what it comprises but AFAIK its all factual, 'safe' stuff. Not 'teaching homosexuality'

'we are against teaching homosexuality to primary school children'

Would that be practical lessons?

You can't teach homosexuality

He is probably right, but why does it have to be. It is an amazingly ethnically diverse place to live and yes when walking down the street, where I live anyway you would be far more likely to hear any other language than English. Why is this a problem though? I resent him using this as an argument for his repulsive views.

Well someone tell me when it was? confused emotion due to London always being full of lovely wonderful immigrants making it the vibrant comos in history that it has been for hundreds of years...silly twit that didn't do any history I guess

resent? Sorry, I mean despise.

I very much hope the man does not eat fish and chips, as it was invented in that awful multi-cultural city, London, by Jewish and Irish immigrants. . Oh the horror!

I think the point is, Lavender, that the Londoners protesting against him and disagreeing with him yesterday were therefore not properly British, so their views don't count.

Ok, so who's volunteering to get NG's DNA!?

Hands up, don't all rush forward at once!

Apparently in The Times it stated that his father was a disillusioned Conservative with very right wing views. The article implied his father would /did support NG's views. I despise the man and I don't really care where his DNA is from as I don't care about Mugabe DNA either. The point that the main stream 3 parties seem to miss. Why the party has growing support? What can be done about sink estates? What can be do about disillusioned and poor white working classes. Why do the majority of people from Northern of England feel neglected and forgotten by Parliament. It made me feel that the political elite aren't that bright either. The woman from the British Museum saying 'that we are all from African' Is that the best she can do! Sorry couldn't watch the whole programme as it drove me nuts with the little it did say!

They don't, as far as I can see. A vocal minority do. But yes, there are concerns that need addressing.

Does this mean I can tell the Home Office to fuck off about my visa? Seeings how I'm in London not Britain?

OOOO... maybe now this means I am eligible for benefits (which visa-holders are currently NOT allowed to claim, not even child tax credit)

Soon enough he's going to turn all Sarah Palin and claim that the REAL Brits don't live in the cities anyway - alienating some 80% of the population

GrimmaTheNome Sorry that vocal minority from up North seem to be working with me. They sometimes make me want to shout,'If its so great back up North then F* go back there. But of course the jobs are down here! I would also sound like a bigot! Do you see what I mean.

Let's just say that London is no longer British-dominant.

Who gives a cr*p? What does it matter?

I'm confused as to what being British really means anyway. I reckon NG needs to define that first before he can continue to bang on with his tripe and codswallop.

I despise anyone who votes BNP as a 'protest vote'. How utterly utterly pathetic.

Riven,Do you mean white? I'm British but not white. Well, my eyeballs & my teeth are. I'm really various shades of brown. I think the majority of Londoners are still white. Lots of 2nd & 3rd generation Italians, Poles, Irish Greeks oh! the list is endless.

Of course London isnt a British city, it hasn't been for years. Nick Griffin should be proud that Britain boasts at least one world class, international metropolis.

Starbear, we wonder what it means for us too. I'm white-as-paper, but not British. Danish on my mother's side, German on my fathers; both of their sets of families were themselves economic migrants to the US in the 18th and 19th centuries.

DH could arguably be said to have "indigenous British" roots. His family on his dad's side left their Nottingham namesake/shire in the 1600's while his mother's family is Scottish.

We are practically glow-in-the-dark white.

But we are not British.

I wonder how Griffin copes when as an MEP he is in Brussels..lots of ethnic minorities here. He obviously doesn't eat out here at all.

No point trying to fathom the workings of his twisted mind. He just spouts hateful shit. I think the holding out of a carrot of political legitimacy is quite clever though as it forces the BNP to disengage from violence and thuggery and focus on diverting their energies towards peddling the message to a largely negative population.

Report

wahwah at least I can agree with your first sentance. I am not sure, however, that I can ever accept that the BNP can be acceptable given their views on mixed race children.

(yes I do have a personal view on this).
