In public?!

Saw a woman reading it on the train today and it looked...odd.

I quite often buy the Sun!!!!!

What is so bad about that???

I can't stand all those intellectual in depth serious papers. I'd rather read Bizarre any day.

At the gym, the Mail is known as "The Comic", as in are you finished the comic ?? It started out with just a few of us saying it, but the new name appears to be growing in popularity.

My mum buys it and I'm always Margot Leadbetter horrified to find it lying around the house when she comes to stay.

Whereas my aunt buys the Daily Mail.

Always read both! Such a guilty pleasure

Sometimes DH sneaks it home.

And if I find it I have a sneaky read of it without telling him.

I stopped reading the Times because I got fed up with restaurant reviews for fabulous places where lunch for 2 is only 90 pounds. what planet do these people live on.

A girl on the bus always passes me her copy of the sun, I wish she would buy something else! I can always feel people learing towards me as I flick past Page 3

bundle, I was with Barclays at college - Brighton Poly, 1969, it was the only bank with a branch in the building so I went there with my grant cheque. Pls forgive! (I did move later!)

little bit of politics, little bit of politics
I was with the Midland; they gave me a lovely Young Person's Railcard, as I recall. And a lovely overdraft.

I used to classify people at uni over which bank they were with:
Natwest (like me) - ok
Lloyds - came from small town that didn't have natwest or their parents banked there. they would never give one of my friends even a £20 overdraft, so still think of them as mean.
Barclays - conscienceless individuals who supported apartheid
