What temperature is your home?

I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I couldn't find it, so here goes...

What temperature is your room heating thermostats set for?
Do you have a range, below and above which you feel too cold/too hot?

DH has ours set to a default of 18.5 c. I nearly always feel cold. Sad
When I complain he says I can turn them up, and I do, but they default back to 18.5 every 24 hours.
Cost isn't really the issue and we can afford to pay the bills, but I just don't think he and DS feel as cold as I do.

We went to friends on Friday who have a lovely big kitchen diner with a woodburner and it was all so cosy and welcoming I could almost have cried with joy!

I feel our house is cold and not very welcoming.

People must have very high bills! I’d hate to have the heating on at night...I can’t sleep if I’m too warm.

My gas central heating and electricity costs £3.30 per day averaged out over the year. Four beds, three receptions, I see being warm as something worth spending my cash on. I switch the heating on, and turn it up, if ever I feel chilly.

Safari - where do you live? Or in what? My mum’s house (is a terrace but is Victorian) has been empty for months with the heating off and was still 12 degrees yesterday. It snowed here too.

I think 21 ish is comfortable. Happy to use a blanket if cold though. I’m not sure how accurate temps are when using a thermostat, I bet not very. I have electric heating so it’s basically on or off. Always have bedroom window open and fan at night though - hate a hot bedroom.
