Did anyone see the Nadia Sawalha programme where a guest cooked Lamb with ginger biscuits. Apparently it was quite nice. I tried to get the recipe online as I thought I would send it to my brother but cannot get it.

Mushy biscuits sound grim but I'm still intrigued by it.
It may be one of those recipes that sound odd but are actually great?

Well, Nadia liked it! I guess it would not be over sweet?

That sounds really weird, but I'm curious about it so may try it.

Raan with Poppy Seed Potatoes and Green Beans with Pecan that is a perfect weekend family feast!

1 large white onion peeled
10 cm peeled ginger
8 garlic cloves
3 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
450g ginger nut biscuits
1 tbsp salt
90 ml veg oil
2 kg leg of lamb
Water 250 ml

Method:
Pre-heat the oven to 150C and in a food processor blend together the onions, ginger, garlic and the spices. Add the ginger nuts and oil and blitz to a smooth paste.
Place the leg of lamb on a large piece of foil in a roasting dish. Score the lamb leg and pour the paste over rubbing it into the gashes.
Make a loose tent with the oil and add water to the tray. Roast for 3 hours until the lamb is tender and falling off the bone.
