I am going to see this in IMAX on Wednesday. I cannot wait. Inception is one of my favourite films and I think the trailer for this looks amazing. The reviews seem to be mainly very positive so far as well so 🤞🏻

@FOKKYFC that line of Kat’s made me cringe as well - erm time to see the bigger picture here!!
Out of interest did you watch in IMAX? Because I found the sound much better and clearer in my non Imax viewing.

@Itswindytoday

I do actually think that reviewers comment is somewhat rude. People like or dislike all kinds of different films which doesn’t make any of them stupid! I happen to think Christopher Nolan makes fabulous films and I thought this was genius, very enjoyable to watch, and yes, a very clever film. And I’m pretty confident I’m not stupid.

(I do agree with the point about Elizabeth Debicki though. She didn’t really fit in properly with Sator)

I’m certainly not calling you stupid. I generally like Nolan films and find them very clever, I think that’s why I disliked Tenet so much, I was disappointed.

I felt that rather than having a story to tell and doing it in a clever way, Nolan has set out to tell a clever story. And personally I think that the dialogue and plotting suffered for it.

No - a fairly provincial one. Maybe my ear isn't very good, but everyone I know who has seen it say they struggled to hear properly in places.
Yes - that line was actually dreadful. If I'd been Debicki I'd've been - "Is it ok if I don't say this? Because it makes me sound really, really dim."
I'm with you, though. I enjoyed it on balance.
