I can not take the scene where the man starts to disappear (how do you spell that?) then later you see the man in another time.

The image flashes (there's probably a technical term for them) in the Exorcist.

Eminybob The film you can't remember the name for is creep its a horrible film well that scene anyways that always sticks in my mind too!

I've never watched it but The Human Caterpillar sounds horrendous. The sequel managed to get itself banned in Ireland or poss uk? A truly vile film, and that's only from the reviews.
Pan's Labyrinth is disturbing but I liked it. Outright gratuitous horror I find off putting, like Saw, The Hills have eyes, etc, so I'm lulled into watching psychological horrors, which are worse! And stay with me way longer.
I haven't watched an 18 in a very many number of years.

I really appreciated A Clockwork Orange, strangely, despite its inherent horror.

Funny Games was quite horrific, two men take a family hostage and it's very disturbing! The descent was also horrific. Lastly Eden Lake, couldn't watch the rest!

Yes Pearlmum1 Eden Lake is very sinister and disturbing.

I remember going to see The Accused when it came out and knew I never, ever wanted to see it again.
