Vicar ahh paper overalls are the height of sexiness. I'm amazed they haven't made it onto the catwalk yet. Bums to cost of the roof :( But hurrah to new towels, for some reason towels are always very exciting...

Hope you had a lovely birthday, Helles.

UA, do hope your dad is okay.

This is the first real episode I've had since completing my therapy, I'm feeling a bit lost really. Recovering from my operation, but was only two weeks ago, and the pain is back already :( I'm dealing with this by eating large amounts of junk food and watching shitty movies in the evenings, very productive Wink Though I am reading a lot (escapism) when I have the concentration to. However am having to pick my books carefully, as found a grammatical error in one yesterday and nearly lobbed it across the room Grin

Sending scones with cream and jam.

ed....cant wear anything underneath due to the fact they are rubbish and porous....

so its old undies that i dont mind getting painted along with the rest of me....i had a lovely serano red stomach last night.
it was quite fetching. Grin

they are made of paper SPC but really quite useless. They are porous so paint goes straight through, so you have to strip....thank God im not near a window or i would be scaring the neighbours, dogs and small children. They are totally see through.
and as unflattering as its possible to get.

boobs how you doing today lovely?

hope everyone else is ok today. I feel a bit odd today - not heard a peep from work so i guess that means i will need another sick note until they decide to grant me audience....(thats how it feels)

my towels have arrived. thats my excitement for the day. want to get on with another coat of paint now....cant while fitter is still fiddling about up there.

just had a bit of bad news re the roof - typical. fitter said while in the loft he noticed the felt is totally sagging, DDs roof is going mouldy so that expains that....called a roofing firm, ust had a quote to replace that felt at the edge....£600!!! wish id known this before i did garden and bathroom.....

im in limbo with work so feel i cant plan anything. I will be on half pay soon too. bugger.

I've woken up feeling much much better physically. Still sleepy.

I guess the leveling would be dependent on what is worn underneath...I do assume there is something underneath if they are see through :o

Boobs sorry to hear this, glad you know it will pass. Remember the power of the duvet, and don't be afraid to use it.

UA glad the treatment is working for your DF. Time together is so precious. I had a tendency to fall apart at trivial things, but could rise to a crisis - I think things become clearer in a crisis, so I could just act iyswim.

Ed think of it as recovering, not crashing. Am lucky that I have the luxury of spending v slow days, much of them in bed, when I need my jangled nervous system to quieten down again.

See-through overalls vicar? What level would that be I wonder?

Image of a transparent teletubby making me smile.

Oh and one ear itches badly inside and I have earache on the other side. Im truely broken today.

Dtds are eventually at school nearly after bus dramas (main bus route vlosed due to road works. Substitute bus route flooded. 2nd substitute route partially blocked by an accident due to being inappropriate for the traffic using it...). Think I'll set my phone to block mode...

sounds like a bug ed - a brilliant excuse to stay in bed if ever there was one. get well soon.

im attempting to tidy up. I need to do another coat of paint in the bathroom - you can see the brush marks, fitter says i need to us a roller so when he is done i will be donning my B&Q see through overalls and cracking on again. i look like a transparent telly tubby....they are see through and dont actually stop paint going anywhere.....

right. must crack on. Floors desperate for a wash.

Evening all.

I'm awake and ruminating. It was brownies this evening and as many of you know recent clash makes that stressful :(

Hello sirboob. Passes a hand to hold. ..

Thoughts are with you UA. We lost my stepfather almost a year ago to pneumonia as a secondary complication to cancer so know of the roller coaster you are on.

I think we all want to move into vicars bathroom...I'll bring some lovely Soap & Glory bubbles...

mama glad I didn't tell you off for posting at 4am yesterday. Didn't realise you were in a different time zone.

Report
mamakoukla · 19/03/2013 03:00

UA I hope your Dad is settled down and comfortable and I am glad that the pneumonia is responding to treatment and retreating.

Sir good morrow!

Bassetfeet I am across the Atlantic. I moved there because I loved my work so much (moving continent was an after-thought) and the place has kind of grown on me.

Quick wave to all at the moment. I want to move into Vicar's bathroom! Hugs to SnowyMouse and NanaNina.

I promise to come back and write more but I need to try to get to bed at a reasonable hour this evening. Good morning to all when you're up.

I did my ironing pile! I tidied one paper pile! The laundry is in the machine (I forgot to switch it on but it is poised for action), dishes are done.

DD was well but had a little fever spike later on today. She appears to be on the mend and she is generally a happy little thing.

I will wash the floor in the hallway tomorrow and put a fresh tablecloth down in the dining room. Amazing how table coverings change the aspect of a room.

Hey all. Haven't been around since the last thread. Having another depressive episode right now and just wanted a bit of selfish hand holding. Know it will pass but Jesus I feel low.

Hope you're all okay.
