I started trying out some classes in November and was just wondering what others do and how they find them.

I do Yoga, body balance and Zumba but I've signed up for spinning next week.

Please tell me spinning is fun and won't kill me....

Can I ask what gyms you use? Am considering Pure Gym because they do a day pass for £5.99. I can't sign up to a long-term contract because I am a single mum and my daughter is permanently attached to me. She goes to see her dad once a month and I am hoping that I can use this to go to a class. I do Jillian Michaels workouts at home everyday but would be nice to do a class and see people. I went to a few before baby and really enjoyed them.

I use the local council gym - you can do pay-as-you-go or get a membership. The membership works out cheaper if you do 3+ classes per week

citrus you don't have to make a long term commitnent with pure gym you simply cancel your payment when you want. I got a pre opening deal amd paid £25 joining and £9.99 per month. Cost does vary but worth checking out.

I do loads, 15 a week Shock! I would just see what's available and give as many as you fancy a try, you never know you may find something you love.
Body Balance is brilliant for a good stretch, Body Pump is great for building muscles and Body Combat is good for co-ordination, all the body classes follow the same release for 12 weeks so you do get better as the weeks go by, this weeks been a nightmare as everything is new and I feel lost Grin.
Kettlercise is also good for building muscles, not so good if you have a bad back. Metafit is 30 mins of hard work which never, ever gets easier as you only move faster and harder the more you do it. Our Boxfit is taught by an ex boxer and Para so is pretty tough, and lastly I do a Dance Fit class which is taught by a lady who has been doing Body Jam and Zumba for years and I do it as more of a fun light hearted class as I don't really work up a sweat but it does give my brain a good work out!
