Just thought I would update. Sunday was awful. Vomiting, aches, pains, high fever of 39.5, headache, feeling exhausted etc...... yesterday I felt a bit better and today a lot better. Covid arm has started and is probably the worst covid arm I have had out of all the jabs. I also have the third boob back in my armpit where the swelling is so bad.

I took yesterday off work, but I am working from home today.

I am done now. 5 jabs in a year has done me in!
@FamilyAreEverything like absolute shit since about 4.30pm. Had jab at 9.20 this morning. Now got shivers, high temp, bad muscle aches and a pounding heart.

I can't believe I have this symptoms again.
Oh dear! Hope you’re feeling better soon. I felt pretty rubbish around 12-24hrs after my 2nd Pfizer, so I guess I need to psych myself up for dose 5!

Has anybody else heard from their site about whether they have covid antibodies from naturally acquired infection? I had these emails this week. Negative! Interesting!

Haven’t had anything re antibodies as yet (Bradford group) but was told that we wouldn’t get that until the end of the trial “in summer”.
2 Novavax, 2 Pfizer, no Covid and I’ve been abroad twice, most recently last week.
However, have had continuous menstrual bleeding since first Pfizer in November and now having investigations. Also had bleeding post jabs in April, investigated and put down to immune response. Current investigations are more comprehensive but I’m expecting the same outcome.
Share price is through the floor so that’s a big disappointment.

Heard nothing here. We tend to be a bit behind though.

@ItsSnowJokes

I really don't know if we need a booster now. Husband is the one I am worried about as he is nearly 17 months past first vaccination, but obviously we had the 2 Pfizer.

Going to speak to my gp I think to see if he would recommend a booster April time. I am not giving up this cruise we have already postponed last year!

I've not had Covid.
Had Novavax Oct/Nov 2020
Pfizer Sep/Nov 21.
Finally got Novavax on our Covid app yesterday. Still not got a valid passport though...

No chance am I getting a booster before 12months minimum. And I'd want Novavax.

Checking in to say I had a positive LFT test yesterday and have all the symptoms of a cold, plus some mild breathlessness. It's nothing particularly bothersome, though I don't feel great. So am signing in to the "four vaccines and then I got Covid" club.

@KeepingOnKeepingUp

So Britney, does your app show your Pfizer shot as the booster?
I have all of my vaccinations on the app but it shows the two Pfizer doses as 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. I'm not worried from a protection perspective, and I don't think many places (if any?) currently require a booster for entry if travelling internationally but I wonder I could find myself on the wrong side of that if that changes - don't fancy arguing with a Greek immigration officer that my 4 doses of vaccine mean I'm boosted when the app doesn't actually show that officially.

Yes. On the NHS app, Novavax are 1 and 2. Pfizer is 3.

Well done all you people who took part. I tried but wasn't allowed due to health conditions.

Hopefully the app will be updated now that Novavax has been approved.

Novavax April & May 2021 (in crossover). Pfizer booster November 2021. Not had covid despite being exposed numerous times.

KeepingOnKeepingUp · 04/02/2022 10:29

Novavax in Oct and Nov 2020, Pfizer in Nov and Dec 2021.
I had Covid (I assume - no tests available) in March 2020 but haven't had a positive test since then, and I've been reasonably diligent about testing when I've been exposed. One of the DC had it over Christmas and I was negative, and now another one has it - we will see!

Novavax Nov and Dec 2020, Pfizer Nov and Jan. Not caught it here. Two front line healthcare worker family and a preschooler in nursery.

Not caught it yet, had novavax in Oct 2020 and pfizer booster in Dec last year.

I had Novavax in April/May, then Pfizer in Oct/Dec. I tested positive in Jan, a month after the 2nd Pfizer, when my daughter brought covid home from school. My symptoms were milder than a normal cold.

@OhCarolinaReaper

Well done to every one who took part in the trial, finally we have some good news.

Has anyone who took part in the trial tested positive? I don't know if I still haven't been exposed to the virus or whether it's due to the novavax holding up

Nope, not caught it yet…and I teach in a busy gym environment. 2 Novavax plus one Pfizer booster.

We haven't even though our young child caught it last summer. She was kissing and hugging us and it seemed to hold up!
