Have any of you with covid (either suspected or confirmed) developed a horrid metallic/chemical like taste in your mouth?

Just that really.

I'm thinking I may have had it and this was a prominent feature, unfortunately I couldn't get a test so cannot say for sure.

I've never experienced it before in my life.

I'm just wondering if anybody else, be it suspected or confirmed, has had this?

I was ill before the taste differences and loss of taste were reported and I remember drinking the water from my filter and going to check it wasn’t mouldy as it tasted so chemically

It started for me on the 19th March has all but gone now. I had a few mild recurrences where I noticed it coming back slightly, but nowhere near as prominent as it was.

I had it terribly for 5 consecutive days coinciding with my other symptoms, from March 19th.

I've been told that there are people who have confirmed as having it but only had it very mildly where this was their only symptom.

I've been doing alot of digging and saw on another thread that a lady and her husband both had the metallic taste, the husband didn't develop further symptoms but she then developed the more alarming ones like burning burning lungs and a fever

I'm hopefully optimistic
