Hello!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Wanted to check your views on whether getting preseed is worth it or not. I don't know much about it but willing to give everything a try!

Also read in Now magazine today a really mean article about Clomid!

Anyway, day 8 for me so the fun begins tonight! Would be a start though if DH and I actually slept in the same bed as I've been on the sofa past couple of nights due to his snoring. It starts off so you can hardly hear it and then builds into an almighty crescendo. Sometimes I even dream about the noise when I'm in the other room..

hey FEBES i also am BF and have been TTC also. I just got AF aug 30th!! first time in awhile! so finally i feel like i have a idea of where i am at, but do know many people who got preggo before AF ever returned! not really great at tracking when it would be best TC since with the first it happened so fast i never had to figure it out , but would love to have 2 close together!

Sorry - TTC DC#2 CD1

Linwin ? it?s hard to know whether it was the preseed or not but I did get a BFP the second month I used it I think it?s worth a shot! (only half each time though ) that?s crap about the snoring but hey, if you keep him awake he can?t snore

WZMO ? how old is your DC#1?

Makingafamily ? welcome to the fun!

MintChocAddict ? sorry to hear AF turned up but welcome to June

I decided to temp this morning (for the first time since I was 10 weeks pg with DS ? big mistake continuing after I got my BFP, it freaked me out) and it was 35.9 which was always a pre-ov temp so don?t think I can be pg yet

My DS is 7 months old but DH and I are keen to have a couple more so we thought we'd better get on with it. Have to say, when I planned to BF, I didn't think about how long it may take for AF to come back afterwards I guess I was lucky that DH self weaned off me 3 weeks ago, we'll just have to see what happens now!

Hi
right im going to try and catch up......
Hello to the newbies Febes and making a family

MrsMcJnr - Do you mean what do I do for a living? If so I work in an office only part-time because of DC

Linwin - If it makes you feel any better my DP snores terrible I have to go to sleep half an hour before him or I dont sleep all night!

Wzmo - I konw what you mean my liitle boy is 22 months and I would love him to be a big bro by June, its weird to say it like that isnt it!

MintChoc - Welcome to June, If i remember correctly you are in the same boat as me regarding CD dates etc. So we can be clueless together if you like..

Anyway still doing my Ov tests everyday, still nothing and im on CD12 but my shortest cycle tis year was 31 days so would make ov about day 17
I read a thing that said that almost every woman in the world ovulates 14 days before her period is due not 14 days from her last period (which is what i thought) so that is why i probably keep missing it because my cycles are all different lengths, so im hoping the sticks will help and then I should know when im next due too, does this sound right to everybody cos im still a bit clueless about all this! x

Hi all loveies old and new!

You are right LitteMiss, ovulation is always two weeks before AF arrives so makes it difficult if cycles irregular. Same for me, is anywhere from 22-28 days (but never ever longer). Im sure we did it at the right time this month thou (fingers crossed)

AF due anytime now until thurs. Going away to Italy for the week on Saturday. Dont want to drink much just in case but wondering what I can say to my friends who are coming with us and will be wanting so see me...er.. 'enjoy' myself with them. Any suggestions? Or should I just go on like normal?

I will prob test every day from sun just incase due to the drinking situation. (I certainly would not normaly do this!)x

Report
littlemissmischief · 04/09/2008 18:40

Thanks Lovelymonster - I never knew that was the case with Ovulation, but with the sticks it should help me know when im due AF then, well thats the plan anyway!
Fingers crossed the old red witch stays away for and how am I about your trip! I look at it 2 ways if you want to drink then test everyday cos its a great excuse if you are a serial tester like me, or if you want to be more sane (not like me) then you could tell them you are on tablets so you cant drink. Have fun whatever you decide x

LovelyMonster · 04/09/2008 18:50

Ha ha my friends would never buy that excuse!!! Think I might just have a couple and try to take it easy (or get completey shashed if AF turns up!).

Whatever happens I plan to have a great time and will update all when I get back

Hi all, can I join please?

Lovely husband and I are TTC #1 and I am CD6 today. About to go on holiday (off work for 2 weeks, giong away for 1 in the middle of those 2) so am hoping there will be lots of time for BD this time (am on cycle 4 of TTC).

I would love a June baby, and it would be very convenient for maternity pay too. Am very excited about the whole idea, and frustrated that it can't all happen immediatley - I want a BFP NOW!!!

Anyway, good luck to all you ladies and lets all get lots of BDing over the next few weeks.

HELP.....

Really would appreciate some help with this...

Have been testing the last two days with two different opk sticks and both say conflicting things. One says positive the other neg... both taken the same day over two days with the same results...how can this be?

Am CD13 today. Don't usually ovulate until CD 16 or 17. The last two months however this has become early, i.e. CD15. On CD11 I used one of the new OPKs I had brought which said [+]. However this would mean I was likely to ov that day or CD12 which is way early. Having seen that, I used one of the few old (but in date) OPKs I had left in the same urine sample but it was [-].

How can this be? Which OPK should I believe? Is it possible that different OPKs pick up the LH surge at different levels?

Hi All

Can I please join you?

I am TTC#2 on CD7.

I have one DD who is 3.5 years. I sadly had a m/c in April 08 @ 7 +3 weeks, and decided to take a break from TTC for a while. I was on TTC before but I'm not sure if anyone will recognise me or not. Since m/c cycles have been all over the place so have no idea when Ov so just gna BD as much as possible !

Hope that this month is lucky for All and heres to those 06/09 babies

x

OPKs confuse the hell out of me, which is why I have never used them

Hope that someone comes on that can give you some advice though

Can I add that the old OPK [One Step LH Urine Ovulation Test] sensitivity is 25mlU/ml[showing negative], whilst the new OPK [ACON Easy Prediction Midstream Ovulation Tests] is 40mlU/ml [showing positive].
