Hi everyone!

Going into our second cycle TTC, stumbled across the SMEP and a lot of couples seem to have had success with it. Has anyone else heard of this/trying it this cycle? X

Who's next in line for testing??

@pollyell I use the clear blue digital dual hormone ones. Takes the guess work out of trying to read lines. I think it makes it so much easier and less stressful.

Who is testing next?

@pollyell unfortunately not you have to buy the whole thing again however I use the same cassette as they say it gets to know your cycles and just use the sticks from the new box and keep the new cassette as a back up.

I’m 7 DPO with really bad cramps so 🤞🏼 it’s implantation however I do usually have this and nothing happens, but not quite like this pain 😢 hurry up the next week!!!

Think I'm getting close to my peak - bottom one was FMU this morning and started getting EWCM today.

Did you guys do anything "special" when DTD, e.g. lets in air, time of day? I will probably start using pressed with applicator tonight onwards (have just been using it like normal lube before) x

@Pollyell yep I’m pretty sure your peak is just around the corner! Think I Had my peak yesterday. On CD 11 which is a few days early for me so but worried about that.

SMEP was off the cards for me this month as O is normally around CD14/15 and both those days me and partner where both scheduled to work 14 hours shifts. However coz I may have O’d early managed to get as close to the SMEP plan as we could. Still not exact but close enough. For some reason I’m not feeling too positive about this cycle, no EWCM again (3rd cycle in a row now) combined with early O... guess time will tell. Just waiting for temps to start rising to confirm O. Hate this part! X

We changed from preseed to conceive plus and inserted with applicator. Preseed made me really sore and almost swell up and it made it really hard to dtd.

I lay with my bum on two pillows for 30 mins legs in thr air, and don't get up until morning from lying down

After reading something saying orgasm helps conception, I usually tried to manually assist that within 40 mins due to what I read.

@sohe I am still pretty new to ttc so others may know better, but I believe you can have more than one "peak" in a cycle and dont necessarily ovulate on the first one? So perhaps you will get another peak in the coming days when you are expecting it?

@namechangettc - thanks thats exactly the info I was looking for! I will defo try all of that (although we are quite liking using preseed so will probably stick to that). And the orgasm - is that before or after?!

I didn't manage to get there before DH so I did it with legs in the air. They say within 40mins of semen to draw it in.

5 dpo don't think we have been successful this month. Didn't stick to the plan as well as I had hoped. Hate the tww. Can't wait until it is over to try again. Good luck everyone.

Hi everyone!! Just been sent here by one of you lovelies! I am on cd 10 and nearly 5 years trying for number two! Husbands on vitamins for poor sperm but I can't say we have completely full blown ever tried!
Im not using opks but just going to stick to it best i can! Best get in the coffee 😂

I am using OPk for first time this month, it can be a bit confusing and think it'll take some getting used to. I'm only second cycle TTC so figured I'd throw myself into this one then if not successful maybe take a more laid back approach like yourself and ditch the sticks. I think I may be in my fertile window so should be DTD every day at this point (managed this morning!). I am using preseed lube and taken above advice re. Bum on pillow and orgasm

Are you trying anything else different this month? Do you have a reliable cycle (unlike me)?

@charlsains we did smep for two months and I found it less exhausting than trying to dtd every day.

@Pollyell thank you. I’m still worried. Feel nauseous about 23 hours a day. The hour I’m not I’m worried about it.

Bum on pillow i get but whats the orgasm deal? Not that we have issue but still 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ ahh so you are in the middle atm! Exciting, have fun with it!

Ahh its messed my MH over the years admittedly, so we are just having fun with it and after Christmas will go to lube, opks and further our testing etc! More positive now my husband is taking vitamins!
But yeah just gonna go every other day, bum on pillow and stay flat i think! Xxxx

I am 9DPO I am holding out on testing but cramps have continued, and tonight for tea I just wanted Bland toast but think that’s just a coincidence far too early even if I was pregnant for all of tang - I’ve been on a day trip with work today so just think I was tired 🤯 I love how your mind tries to trick and convince you or is that just me?

I read something saying orgasm within 40 mins of sperm can help draw them in 😂 so we went for it anyway. No harm.

@Gamechanger2019 I am having similar 'symptoms'. Intermittent cramping since the weekend and crazy exhaustion. But I have not had any implantation bleeding like I had last time.

When is everyone planning to test? I got so far as unwrapping the test today, but decided not to in the end. Hoping to last till the weekend. Luckily the next two days are busy days at work, so hopefully will keep my mind off the tests.
