@wewin yeah don't worry to much, still plenty of time. I'm also 7dpo today aswell, I'm feeling as hopeful as you are at this moment in time it's so hard. But I suppose mine is because I know I didn't have sex on the day of ovulation it was a few days before and now I have no symptoms just fuller breast I am really not confident at all. But hey ho the sperm might have waited around for a bit might have still conceived, will have to wait and see.

@Kayleigh0713 yes I'll keep you all updated! Yes you are right the sperm can live for 5 days, so you are in in in!

I promised myself I would reign the symptom spotting in this cycle. Last month, I drove myself mad with symptom spotting as I was so nauseas and everything smelt different so had 100% convinced myself I must be pregnant. But only for a verrry faint line for a couple of days then AF one day late. So this month, I'm trying to not get carried away!

@Wewin I totally understand what you mean. I'm so bad for it! I symptom spot for hours a day just to get my hopes up. Spending so much on ovulation test and pregnancy test aswell. I wish I could just relax and if it happens then it happens and have the ability to test the day after my missed period.

I literally can't control myself 😂 how long have you been TTC? And if you don't mind me asking when is your AF due?

Literally no symptoms today, but it's early for us all!

@Lew2016 hey! I ovulated on 29th September it's literally only been a week today. Im trying to stay positive but because of the timings of when we had a sex and the very little symptoms I do feel I have missed it this month.

But you're right! We are all still early on. When did you ovulate? And when is your AF due? I wonder if we'll all be testing around the same time haha.

Argh I am only 4dpo and I am driving myself crazy symptom spotting! If anyone has any facts/ reasoning/ anything you tell yourselves that you can't argue with that would be v helpful! I KNOW it's not possible yet, and I KNOW this is not helpful but I can't stop!
Specifically I'm getting cramps, creamy cm and my temp just keeps rising. Pathetic aren't I?

Well I'm sick as a dog today! Me and dp have both come down with a bug. If the twinges I've been feeling were implantation I really hope the copious retching I've been doing today hasn't caused any problems 😷

Hey @SMiles14 I know how you feel I literally feel mental, everyday I'm constantly thinking is this a new symptom or questioning how do I know if implantation has occurred etc. Its so horrible just proves how much we want a child. Good luck though another 6 days or so and you should be able to get a result if your testing early. I'm going to test again tomorrow and see what happens with that then leave it and wait until I'm due AF.

@wutheringshites86 I wouldn't worry I don't think that will affect it. How many dpo are you? Good luck

@Kayleigh0713 thank you, it does help to know I'm not alone! I just feel mental, every cycle I start off with good intentions to keep busy and not symptom spot then the minute O is confirmed it all goes to pot. I guess it's because it's all out of our control at this point so you have to put that energy somewhere...
the next week cannot go quick enough! I'm supposed to be going out for drinks on Friday. Would only be 9dpo but tempted to test... 🤔 we shall see.

Hi everyone so many messages in the last day... so I'm 9dpo today and I decided to test tonight and it's a very faint but definite bfp. Still very early and as I had an ectopic the beginning of the year so trying not to get too excited!! Going to test in the morn with my frer!
I went to my mums wedding last night and drank quite a few glasses of wine after testing yesterday and a stark white bfn.. so now I feel terrible!

Wow @Flossylou that's a good sign.
Don't worry about the wedding. Thinking back to when I had my first (8 years ago, don't get me started on the age gap 😞) I was oblivious to being pregnant and had some pretty heavy nights out in the very early weeks. All stopped as soon as I found out and went on to have a healthy baby, so don't stress about a few vinos.

I'm 6DPO now, due AF 14th / 15th. The symptom spotting is crazy, I have felt twinges and sensations that 'could be implantation' every day for the last 3 days. It's probably just my overactive imagination. We only managed to DTD once but it was on the day of my LH surge so hopefully that's enough.

I'm keen to know but also a bit nervous about early testing. I think I may have had a chemical previously but finding it ok(ish) to deal with because I hadn't had a clear BFP. I'm worried that if I test too soon and get a BFP but then start AF a couple of days later, then I'll be much more upset. If that makes sense? (No judgement obviously, I totally get the urge to test asap, I'm just scared). On the other hand, I'm due to go to the GP tomorrow and they're bound to ask if I might be pregnant, so I'm wondering if I should test in the morning, so I can give them the most up to date information. I'd only be 7DPO though so unlikely that anything would show up anyway.

Oooh so confused. Can't decide what to do.

@30somethingandtired oh an 8 year age gap is nothing my youngest is 11!I've also got a lovely 6 year old step daughter so she kind of helps bridge the age gap.

I know what you mean but I am so impatient I mean the whole chemical pregnancy aspect does worry me and I won't be relaxing for some time since.. I'll probably obsessively test now daily. I'll be referred in for an early scan because of the previous ectopic.

I'm going to Benidorm in two weeks for my best friends hen do.... I'm sure that will be eye opening sober!

I think in regards your early testing it's completely how you feel yourself. I had cramps and 4&5 dpo, sore boobs, weird dreams and I'm very bloated (although that may be the wine ) I don't think at 7dpo your likely to get an accurate result - I tested yesterday at 8dpo and there was literally nothing.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you @Flossylou . The hen-do will be interesting, hope you manage to enjoy it. I find drunk people so annoying when I'm sober. Do the others know you're ttc? Or will you need to think of excuses for not joining in the boozing?

Wow @Flossylou massive congratulations to you!! Amazing news to hear.

I've just took a frer myself and I'm only 8dpo but there is this really faint line. When I first peed on the stick the line was white then it settled to a very very faint pink colour. I am still early on so I am going to test again tomorrow but this next 24 is going to be agonising!!

@30somethingandtired I know so do I, it's not going to be fun. But we've got a villa so if I want to I can stay in I suppose, we're off to a theme park on the Saturday so I will be designated bag holder. I don't think I can hide it all weekend, I'd rather not tell anyone at 6 weeks pregnant but I think it will be glaringly obvious.

@Kayleigh0713 congrats, looks like a line to me. My line is similar I did a frer last night I couldn't wait till this morning haha.

Thank you @Flossylou and @WutheringShites86 I'm going to test again in the morning. Hopefully it's darker but there is defo another line there it got darker aswell but it was passed the time limit when it got even darker. I'm only 8dpo so I'll see what the test says in the morning. It's reassuring knowing that your test is similar. Yayy don't want to get to excited yet though lol

Oh wow look at that - 2 BFP’s! Congratulations ladies that’s so wonderful

I’m only 8dpo today and haven’t tested as no symptoms. I was constipated yesterday but ate 3 oranges last night and finally went this morning. Yet that could be just typical progesterone symptoms.

I read recently most implantation happens on day 9, so I’ve still a few days yet for symptoms I guess!

@Flossylou good luck! At least with having an early scan will rest assure your mind slightly. I think my AF is due Saturday so if I take another frer tomorrow and still slightly positive I'll test again on Thursday with clear blue digital just to make sure. It's horrible because now anything can happen I'm trying to not think of the worst though and I definitely do not want to scare you. So good luck!!!

@Wewin thank you! When do you think you'll test? I didn't have any symptoms apart from breast feeling tender until today I've had cramping, quite a bit of cm and peeing quite a bit. Let us know how you get on x

This was my test when I looked at it like 15 minutes after so it did get darker but it was passed the time limit so I'm not going to believe it until its a solid two lines x
