@Raizelrea that's such a good way to look at it. And yes, I am also usually aware of my energy levels at different times. But I just need to see how my cycle compares to last this time around. Then I won't worry so much! Hope you're feeling well today! Xx

@flossy12 exactly. OH is going to be away for some of it but I think we're going to make it work anyway. Just excited to give it a better shot than last time 🙈 hope you're feeling okay!

@flossy12 that's what I'm hoping. It's only sort of in the middle, so we have the run up and then just after when Flo says OD is. But I'm going to base it on CM mainly, so will just have to keep an eye out for that 🙊👌🏻

@Hewie30 how are you feeling today chick? Hopefully not in pain? Is AF usually heavy? How long does she last?

@Raizelrea now you're definitely half way through and on the home straight. You've got this. Do not be tempted to test early!!! Stay strong! How are you today?

@Katie1109 how are you this morning chick? Excited that you're in your FW woohoo!

And how is everyone else? @Makeafamily19 @Nicecupofcoco @claireb707 (hope you're enjoying your holiday) and newbies? X

Morning ladies, hope you have a good Monday!

Thanks @Gigi318 this week is definitely harder. My nausea really amped up yesterday, and this morning the smell of coffee made me gag. I hate my subconscious!

Hi all!
I think I missed my peak on OPKs, think it must have been Thursday and I ovulated Friday/ Saturday as I had a temp spike! I think haha.
DTD Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and planning on doing it tonight as well. So hopefully got it covered anyway and the TWW starts! Trying my hardest to be relaxed and try and forget about it. 🤣 we will see! So excited for us all this month!!

Raizelrea · 30/09/2019 08:37

@Makeafamily19 Sounds like you've got ir covered regardless! I think I slept through my peak when I had it haha - at least according to the cheapies, I got it on CB advanced. Are you waiting till AF due date to test? Hope you manage to stay distracted in your TWW ☺️

Report
Makeafamily19 · 30/09/2019 08:59

@Raizelrea yeah I think maybe I slept through it, as it was getting darker then bam light again the next day.
I bought loads of cheapies so I might test or I might try and hold off till AF due 12th October. I don't know which is better for my sanity haha. Last month I didn't test at all but I was just constantly symptom spotting and maybe if I tested it would have calmed me down?? Dunno! What are you doing? When is AF due again?

Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 12:36

@Raizelrea oh tell me about it, coffee killed me last month. I then went from 3-4 cups of double shot black coffee a day to 1 or none and I was so poorly from it 🙈 which didn't help! At least the end is in sight now. I hated being in the first week, the second you feel almost there. Woohoo!

@Makeafamily19 eeeek so exciting! It's okay that you missed it as I think you covered it anyway hehehe. This is why I love the AT LEAST every other day idea, as you can very much cover yourself 🙌🏻 absolutely. It's all so exciting! What CD are you now? I'm CD7 and everything is starting for me now. Yay! The only thing that worries me with early testing is spotting a faint line and then it going to negative because it was a MC or didn't implant or whatever 😞🙈 it's a catch 22 isn't it!

Hey all, absolutely enjoying holiday 😎😎

Though am all a bit confused, app says I am now one day late, but as I ovulated early (apparently on day 10) I am now only cd23
So am I late or not?

@Gigi318 I know I'm driving myself nuts! Now started having a weird pulsing pain in right boob which kind of freaked me out. But you're right the end of temporary insanity is in sight haha! Yay for your fertile week! Such an exciting time ☺️

@claireb707 Hope your holiday is amazing ☺️ How long is your luteal phase normally? CD10 does sound super early to ovulated, you've got quite the speedy cycle! Did you bring any tests with you?

@flossy12 Thanks hun ❤️. I've got a UTI at the moment so double pain in the butt at the moment 😂. How are you you okay?

@gigi318 Morning hun, I'm okay thank you a bit more positive today. AF is still really odd I think it's a mix of my UTI and period together, sometimes it's heavy and sometimes it's really light. I'm not in any pain which is good, the pains only when I go to the loo. How you doing?

Report
Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 13:25

@claireb707 how exciting! Do you feel as if you ovulated CD10? Any signs of it? You could be. I'd guess AF would be due CD24 if so? Any sign of AF? So exciting and glad you're enjoying your break!

@Raizelrea what a rollercoaster of emotions we have - boredom of AF week, excitement of FW, then anticipation into TWW - closely followed by obsession, worry, overwhelm, and frustration, then into disappointment of AF or elation of BFP. Jeez, it's exhausting 🤣 exactly, not long to wait now. Thank you, I am very excited as I feel like I can be a bit proactive now!

@Hewie30 glad you're feeling better chick. Urgh, the UTI! Not cool! But it should go soon right? Glad AF isn't causing too much trouble. And it's good you have a relaxed month coming up as I think you need it. It may help your cycles to chill the F out too 🙊👌🏻 and, of course, you're not out even if not actively TTC and DTD can still get you somewhere. And it can be fun - not to mention good for the complexion! Hehehehe!
I'm feeling good. Full of beans today. It's a miserable day, weather wise, but excited to be able to DTD again and have a good week ahead 💖💙 there's always something to feel positive about 💫 hope that will rub off on you too!

@Gigi318 That's great your feeling positive and upbeat about your window this month 😊. Fingers crossed it's your month 🤞🤞. Yeah it should hopefully go, if not I'll grab some antibiotics but don't ideally want them if I don't have too. Yeah AF is okay! The oddest one I've had but I'm glad it's here rather then waiting and wondering what's going on. Haha! Hopefully it'll help, although I don't feel stressed at all maybe i am and don't know it 🤷. I hope your positive attitude will rub off on me but I'm not feeling positive due to not actively trying anymore, but we'll see!

To be honest I don't know, been on pill for 4 years and came off 6 weeks ago so this is my first proper cycle.
I don't feel anything at the moment, definitely not like I'm due on so who knows

Opk tests definitely said peak was day 10

Hello ladies,

I would love to join the thread as it is soo long to wait alone and it is driving me nuts..! AF are planned for 8th October.

I am 9 days DPO (days post ovulation) and so far no symptom at all... I am wondering if some of you had 0 symptom at this stage and finally find out they were pregnant?

First time I tried to conceive was March and became pregnant straight away with symptom at 6 days DPO (days post ovulation) (lot of watery discharge, headache, tend breast, metallic taste in mouth, weeing more often..). Miscarriage at 7 weeks, since then I have tried 3 months and now in my 4 cycle trying..

It is becoming an obsession that I cant take out of my mind. And even worse when friends and family tell you that more you think about it less it will happen.. it makes me stress that I will never manage to relax and get pregnant again.. wondering if some of you were constantly thinking about it and managed to get pregnant?

Thanks a lot ladies for all your support!! xx

@Hewie30 thank you chick, I feel like I didn't actually give it a shot last month and although this is cycle 2, it's kind of the first proper month giving it a go. So 🤞🏻
Yes with you on that, not a fan of antibiotics so let's hope it passes soon! Glad AF isn't giving you much bother. I thought mine was odd too, but that was probably me just paying it more attention. It could of been normal. Who knows 🤣🙊
Oh definitely, I don't think you sound stress either. But there really is that thing when people stop actively TTC it happens. Maybe all the constant planning just takes over and gets in the way? I've known of so many women who even go to do IVF (or have done a few rounds and take a break) and then fall PG when they're 'not trying'. It's amazing what the body can do! So I honestly think this is a good thing for you. Just enjoy the month and see what happens. If nothing else, you'll have fun 🙊🙌🏻👌🏻
Oh, and I will be SURE to rub my positivity off on you hehehe 💫

@claireb707 that's good chick, your body is just adjusting perhaps and you'll get used to your cycles soon if not already! Did you get a period right away? As that bleed would be CD1 - or did you have a gap? Just wondering if you have had a 6 week cycle ☺️😘

@AtouchofFrenchy welcome! How are you? Don't worry, I think lots of us worry and obsess a little. We have some with MCs in our thread too. So far, we have 2 ladies with BFP (I think, soz if I missed someone)! And I don't think their symptoms were big. Again, I may be wrong. The best advice I can give you is to try and relax and distract yourself when in the TWW as it's not helping you at all, lovely lady. But that's what we are here for!

@Gigi318. I am fine, trying to get occupied with work in order to not spend 100% of my time auto-analyzing myself.. :) I think it is great to have this forum as it helps to empty your mind writing about your daily situation and hearing about all your similar experience ladies.

This is excellent news for the ladies who got the BFP and really look forward to hearing from them about their early symptoms.. Also, I have another question in mind.. During your fertility period do you try to DTD everyday or every 2/3 days? My hubby has a lot of business trips and quite difficult to be on schedule for DTD. Also he is quite stress and tired with work.. For example this cycle, only managed to DTD once (the day before ovulation). I have very low expectation of being pregnant as heard you need to DTD quite often during fertility period to make it work... Any other in similar case and managed to get BFP?

@claireb707 ah yes, I remember you saying! That's good, so your cycles aren't super long, which is good! Although it could mean you are late now based on that? So hard when the cycle is regulating. Hope you can relax and enjoy the hol still. And at least you have the tests at the ready too. Woohoo!!

@AtouchofFrenchy well, in theory, you only need to DTD once to get PG. If it's timed right! And I personally think you can do it too much. Although @flossy12 said she didn't DTD much and got her BFP (although she did DTD 3 times in one day, so that could be why haha). It's hard. This month, I'm aiming for every other day and then everyday when I think I'm in my FW! If I can. We shall see, as my OH will be away a bit!
