Just wondering what people think 2022’s equivalent to the fingerling will be? I just love being the auntie who manages to get the toy that has already sold out by the time the child actually asks for it 😂😂 normally it’s really clear on the ‘must have toys’ lists but haven’t spotted anything this year! So predictions are welcome!!

Never got sucked into this nonsense.....my local B and M is already full of types in pyjamas and onesies pushing large trolley of plastic tat.....its closing down soon for flats to be built....i will miss it....but not the awful queues and customers who never have their money ready or cards dont work ...!!

I’m excited about the Smyths catalogue arriving for my DC. It provided many many hours of entertainment for them last year 😂

They heavily debate the contents and then circle a few bits. I remember doing the same with the Argos catalogues of old!!

So I just ordered an Airup! A couple weeks ago when I heard about them on here I asked my sister if they are all the rage at her child’s school and she said she’d never heard of them, but then the other day she messaged to say everyone has been getting them now! (I felt very ahead of the trend/down with the kids thanks to this thread haha!) I’m really hoping it’s not a use twice and throw out situation! I suppose if they don’t like the flavours they can just use it as a trendy normal water bottle?

Thanks to this thread I’ve just realised what my youngest DD was chuntering on about when he was talking about a water bottle with air capsules . Although I think he thinks it will make the water taste like fruit shoots
