Christmas

Help! Teenage DD. No presents

ArthurChristmas2 · 20/11/2020 22:48

So, my lovely girl is just 15. My shopping is pretty much done apart from her. I have no presents whatsoever. She’s never asked for anything, ever. She’s not into brands. She has a phone, a laptop, kindle, new camera for birthday. She doesn’t really need any new clothes. She rarely wears jewellery. She does a lot of dance but we’ve either had to buy equipment as it was needed or she has regulation uniform. I am so clueless it’s frightening. Please hit me with your DD lists and ideas. Desperately seeking something to get her (I also have to get both sets of grandparents).

Glad I've found this thread. 19 yo ds has been easy to buy for, but 16yo dd is a nightmare and I'm late! Some great ideas here.

@bjjgirl

"I would really recommend anything to keep her warm, heated slippers etc"

Any recommendations for heated slippers?

@bendmeoverbackwards sorry only just seen your comment now. I bought a family pack of 4. It worked out to be just under £40 each. However a friend of mine found cheaper alternatives on amazon and rated those ones.

Sorry if already suggested but the Jordan Matter Dancers Among Us books are lovely. Maybe worth a look on Amazon

Japanese groceries (you can get stock cube type ingredient that lends a Japanese flavour to stews, sticky rice, seaweed wraps etc)

Rot Pot Kimchi maker

Ordinary battery run alarm clocks are popular again among teens who don't have phones in their bedrooms overnight

Teens girls in my family like the soft , fabric-covered, long, no-heat covered fabric curlers (although in reality they produce twists more than curls) that are comfortable to sleep in at night

How about a digital cutting machine if she's crafty?

Some great ideas on this thread. I've ordered two 'oodie' style things from the Etsy link. I've never used Etsy so I hope they are ok. The misguided pjs and also the ugg slider dupes. A 4th gen echo dot and Alexa compatible colour changeable lightbulbs.

Thanks!!
