They don't believe in Santa at this point!
Apart from chocolate, shower gel and pyjamas, what else? I am a bit stumped this year!
.......yes, I know that probably tells me they don't need anything.....but Santa normally brings 6 presents each in the stocking.

We do the stockings at the table when I am trying to load up the plates, gravy etc. It keeps everyone busy and distracts the 'he has more pigs in blankets than me'. We generally include
I'm a celebrity chocolates
Smelliies
Pants and socks (nice ones too shop etc)
A book
Funny bits I have found all year and hidden.
Scratch card
Bottle of booze for older ones.
Costa card
Cinema voucher.
Sometimes an iou for something funny e.g. A Chinese takeaway or lift to football when it's raining.

Lottery ticket reminds me that last year I brought lucky dips for everyone else who was at our house (7 of us), rolled them up and 'posted' one into each cracker. There was a lottery draw that day.
We don't do the lottery as a rule, but everyone liked that.
Unfortunately no one won!

Love this thread.
I love doing the stockings-I do lots similar to PP's-
but one of everyone's favourite bits is a small box of trivia
cards (for example footy one for DS1, science-y ones for DS2 and animal theme for DD) and charades in DH's that we play after Christmas lunch

Hi Smile

I have a DD aged 14 and a DS aged 11. They too do not believe in Santa. When they were little, I always put cuddly toys and bubbles in their stockings. But now they are older, for my DD I put in lip glosses and hair bands from Claire's and really lovely bracelets from accessorise. For DS, I put in quite a lot of good quality stationery ( since he loves drawing) and a little box of magic tricks.

Hope this helps!

Ruby

My 14yo (along with my 10yo) is getting;

  • selection box
  • tube of smarties
  • chocolate reindeer
  • Guinness book of records
  • scout torch
  • hammock
  • bakedin mug cake mixes
  • lakeland mug (with how to make a mug cake recipes around the outside & ingredient levels inside)
  • new ipad case
  • rubix cube (well dodecahedron I think, they have cubes and I got different ones last year which they liked, so gone for different ones again this year)

I've done hot chocolate (the 1-shot sachets, sprinkle bits and squirter cream) for the last few years.

The Teenager who came to Tea (spoof on Tiger) looks good.

That's funny, I thought I'd be the only one "gifting" dried mango!

Yes also to mini marshmallows and hot chocolate.
