What christmas food do you have left?!?

God, just opened the fridge...cheese, pate, dips, cold meats.
Not forgetting the crisps, nuts, biscuits & chocolate that is left. Feel a weekend of eating is on the cards before back to school/work routine begins & healthy eating kicks in (yeah right!)

I made two puddings last year so I have this Christmas's Christmas Pud fermenting away (not sure who will eat it though. The DC won;t and I very much doubt my DParents will travel down this year. )

STILL have the Waitrose Biscuits Xmas Shock , I might make DH take them into work.(They are fine till August)

I've just found a Christmas pudding, a jar of cranberry sauce and a mini stollen in the back of a cupboard. Today is a good day Xmas Smile

DH has just highlighted that we have several boxes of mince pies, a stollen and a chocolate log in the freezer. (Luckily he hasn't noticed the untouched panettone or Christmas cake). Luckily we are hosting Easter Sunday lunch so I will use some things then (and eat the stuffing I bought reduced after Christmas). I will probably cut the cake in half and give half to my father who loves it. I love making christmas cake but it is always the last thing eaten.
Once Easter Sunday is here I can continue eating Christmas chocolate ( but not too much as I have a very big birthday coming up and don't want to be enormous in the photos!

I ate the 2nd stollen over the course of last week.

I still have amaretti biscuits (bought in 2013, I put them away during the year most years, as my own special Christmas treat - I think I had 2 this year out of the packet). They will be fine for Christmas 2016.

I have Christmas Tree loo-roll in the downstairs toilet Xmas Grin
Not my doing, but I put the last few rolls into the cupboard and it was put on the hanger.
Must've been DH (my DS wouldn't bother to hang up a new bogroll )

I have some Candy Canes in little christmas stockings that we hang on the banister (I tell the DC not to eat them , they're about 6 Christmases old ) . I found it really hard to find proper red/white ones , but the £ shops had some (others were weedy faded pink/white)

I tidied the Pantry Xmas Grin and found:
Mince Pies (only 2 days out of date, DH scoffed most of them. I had 2 (mini) my guts told me that was a bad idea a couple of hours later)

A box of Waitrose chocolate biscuits.(still not eaten)

Mulled fruit drink

Chestnuts (glad I found them, delicious with sprouts but I'll settle for brocilli )

Chocolate Yule Log (waaaaay out of date)

Zeetea save them for next year and either make a door wreath with them (look on Pinterest) or if they are still in date, make Christmas bark with them for presents (again Pinterest)
Alternatively, I attach them to Christmas presents with some red ribbon.

We have 2 tubs of haribo, box of truffles, chocolate santa, lots and lots of chocolate cons and 2 boxes of chocolate M&S Biscuits. We are both on diets and a Little one cant eat that much chocolate! We also still have a lindt rabbit from last easter which is just about in date Blush

Sainsburys mini mince pies are the best!

I still have a whole pack of candy canes, no idea why I buy them every year I don't even like - what can I do with them?!

Some mini mince pies (Sainsburys Taste the Difference)
A Christmas Pudding (I made 2, so I'm allowed this one, it's maturing for next year Xmas Grin )
Some Waitrose biscuits.
Block of marzipan (but it'll get eaten at Easter )

I'm using up the Christmas toilet paper (M&S with Christmas Trees from 2014 Xmas Blush ) and some green/red/white and red/white Christmas drinking straws.
DH says "You can buy more just use them"

I still have one piece of cheese, a pack of kettle chips, some crackers and some mini jars of terrine.

Still have Christmas cake, mince pies and some stollen plus chocolates Blush.we always eat mince pies and stollen during December and then I over buy the week before forgetting we won't actually be spending that much time at home. I will probably freeze the pies and stollen until November! The Christmas cake will be nibbled at and I will probably leave the chocolates until after Easter as I want to lose a bit of weight and then it will be Lent.

Still have cheese, cava, chocolates, crisps and two boxes of shortbread unopened. Everything but the cheese will probably go on the Easter shelf now.

I still have cheese and crackers left over from Christmas, but I'm waiting for a suitable point to break them out again!

Apart from that, me and DH were very good and ate everything on Christmas day / Boxing day.

Following a final fridge clear out today - the grand total of a box of Belgian chocolates and a huge wedge of Stilton (same as every year).

2 tubs of Tiger christmas cookies
A tub of Heros
A tub of Sainbos version of Quality Street
2 slabs of pate
Loads of cheeses
So much booze that will probably sit there until next year as I rarely drink in the house

And that's not including the vast amount of chocolate and sweets that DS was given as presents

Don I went out and intentionally BOUGHT a half-price panettone today from my favourite local bakery.
I made sure it was a "chocolate drops and chocolate icing" one because another traditional one would have caused a walk-out tonight!
