One of our biggest family traditions was always having our favourite breakfast, it still is! Bake your own pain au chocolat, sugary crappy cereal as kids, then smoked salmon and scrambled eggs as adults. With Buck's Fizz.

DH wanted bacon butties, til I pointed out he'd have to clean up after frying the bacon before he could do dinner. The mess he makes with bacon!

The pound shop currently have those little round pots of Lucky Charms. Still expensive for a single serving of cereal, but for a one off it's fine

My three are all getting round pots of lucky charm cereal in their stockings this year bought at insane price from Selfridges food hall. If that doesn't prove that Santa is real, nothing will!

Mine still talk about the year they got big bottles of Ribena in different flavours. This year it's hot chocolate, milkshake powder and some weird peanut butter hot drink DS will just love. YYY to food in stockings!

I don't think it's weird. I was thinking about getting my three dc a box of their favourite cereal to go in their stocking. I think they will think it is funny that Father Christmas has given them something different.

Ooh, I love Krave. Used to eat it when I was breast feeding, so told myself all the calories magically bounced off me. I miss it!

I don't think it sounds weird at all. Mine aren't allowed Coke. Santa will be bringing them a bottle with their names on. A 'forbidden' treat is a great thing to get at Christmas.

My two have also been given Christmas bowls and plates previous years - that was all part of an effort to get them to eat something amidst all the madness. It's amazing how fast a breakfast or dinner can disappear when it's served on something Santa brought!

You can get individual pots of krave that would fit in a stocking, a pack plus a wrap of pop tarts would make my dc the happiest dc anywhere on Christmas morning

Mine get a breakfast box on their bed with their stocking. Chocolate milk, a sandwich cut with a cookie cutter into stars, a pot of fruit salad and a yogurt pouch. I put it all in a Christmas gift box from disney store. They think it's amazing!!

I am 38 and rang my mum (who we're staying with over Xmas this year) this morning to remind her I have to have M&S triple choc cereal for breakfast on Xmas Day. Three years ago, we were staying at MIL's and she obviously didn't know about this and Christmas was ruined! Well, not quite but it did make me realise I like a treat breakfast. My DC will either have croissant or eggy bread.
