I've just been looking for a cheery printable about candy canes and found this letter Xmas Confused

Our Elf on the Shelf is going to hang them from all the door hooks tonight and possibly make one of the sleighs linked earlier.

No Tesco or Home Bargains here either, maybe next year.

We make chocolate bark too, no minty bits, just chocolate with nuts, cranberries, silver balls, lovely.

Make peppermint bark. Melt milk chocolate, spread it over a tray or whatever then sprinkle over crushed candy canes. Leave to set in the fridge, then cut up. Sometimes I do a layer of milk chocolate then a layer white chocolate. T'is delish!

Hang them on the tree and every child who comes to the house can take one. I said "One!"

Hang them on the tree and spend the next 2 weeks saying "no, you may NOT have a candy cane!" to your DC every time they walk past the tree!

Tesco have fruit-flavoured ones. I was searching for classic ones to make peppermint bark and ended up smashing humbugs instead!

Thank you all, not sure if I will be able to get to any of those stores this side of Christmas but will bear them in mind for next year. Postage a bit prohibitive on the Jelly Belly ones but they look yummy!

Last years are still lying on the table in the conservatory. Melting when the sun comes out.
