I never normally make lists but DP wants me too as last year was a bit stressful for him apparently!

I know I don't want smellies/perfume or more books too add to the must read but never do collection but that doesn't help me with what I do what!

So I was hoping some of your lists may inspire me!

Thanks

Anything from Lush
Some jeans that fit & make me feel good until I can get back into my pre-pg jeans
Voucher for a spa day
And for baby to be into some sort of routine (should be about 6 weeks old) so I can enjoy a bottle glass or two of bubbly

We have had a really crap last 6 months, with the bathroom plumbing deciding its had enough of us using it!
So for Christmas this year I would love to have some new flooring in there rather than open floorboards around the sink and a nice bathroom cabinet.
Not much to ask is it? :)

I have an iPad so not too fussed about getting the new one but it is 33% slimmer and 2x faster... we could put off windows couldn't we!?

Prada Candy perfume
A handbag from next I like
Tiger print onesie from primark

Unfortunately we also need double glazing so chances are slim!

One of those steam mops. Sounds lame but should transform my life. Pyjamas from the kids and a dressing gown.

Would have said gym membership but just had an offer, organised by DS's school, for over half price membership so already ticked that off!

Need new kitchen knives - but crossing them off the list now LordOfTheFlies has pointed out that it's bad luck! Thanks LOTF - don't need to invite bad luck!!

Would like a Tefal Actifry - probably put money from PIL towards one of those.

That currently leaves the one thing I really desire, but probably wont get, an iPad and a family day out to Anfield to watch Liverpool - but I'd end up organising it and getting the tickets so not exactly something to open on Christmas morning!

Thinking cap back on :o

Childofisis sorry to hear you are not looking forward to your first Christmas as a lone parent. I do understand as I found out my ex had been cheating on me on our sons first Christmas and the following Christmas I decided to let him visit and have lunch so as not to miss out on son. Must have been the worst decision I ever made. Cue my desire to make subsequent Christmases special. Could a close friend and you make a pact to make a little stocking for each other?

Magneto - you have reminded me. I would like a dressing robe too. Purple, soft like silk and lightweight. I got a dressing gown last year and hardly wear it as it gets too hot!

Box set of spooks maybe an idea.

Is it sad to ask for a tagine?

Lordoftheflies- the knives were my 18th birthday present too!

All I'd like is for my first christmas as a lone parent to be lovely.
I'd like to get through it without too much crying and feelings of loss.

If anyone has any ideas how I can ask Santa for that I'd be gratefull.

No No No No knives as a present it is sooooo unlucky.

Speaking as one who is very superstitous and had to smack the living daylights gently reprimand my DS for putting his new trainers on the table just to rile me.

LOTF puts trainers on the floor.DS puts on table. LOTF puts back on floor -sigh-. DS puts them back on table and cackles like a magpie. LOTF gets DS in a headlock.

Now where's your Christmas list PFB ??

Budget- probably between £50 and £80. We are being rather selfish this year and not spending on extended family/friends.

We live quite far away from any theatres/live gigs etc but will have a look.

Im very much a practical person and like to receive things I need rather than want. Unlike my DP who is into books/DVDs/extending his Lego collection.

Blackflamecandle- I get presents like a food processor and knives from my mum. Last year or the year before it was a sewing machine. So perfectly acceptable present in her eyes (I don't sew but she thinks I should- her rational behind all her presents!)

A shag would be lovely but think as I will be within the ) week postnatal period I may not be up to it.

I would really like money towards clothes but again post natal and want to lose a ton of weight.
