Callum is now gaining about 10oz a week, so must be getting enough milk but is having very large green, greasy stools, about 4 times a day. I know this isn't normal.

...also, I think the green poo will definately stop once the formula is discontinued.

Go with your instinct SGK.

I wish I had done with my LO, but fisrt time mum and all that you believe all the crap they tell you, dont you? (well, I did )

3.5 oz doesnt seem much to me...I am not sure that amount will affect his weight gain significantly - could it make him take more bf even if he is not being topped up???

I will just be glad to be able to stop the last bottle.. was 2 bottles of formula and 1 of EBM. I might drop the formula soon and just replace it with EBM, and see what happens.

Infatrini has a higher fat content than regular formula or breastmilk - maybe this is coming out in the greasy stools??

'Funny' stools are a known issue with specialist formulas, sparkly....if you ask the nurse, I expect she will confirm.

I would second that NAB. My ds had internittent green stools when he was tiny. Seemed to stop evetually though. What formula is he on? If it is the nutriprem that will definately make poo green!

Oh, I think green poos with formula were normal according to my book.

I know, where does the time go? He is still the size of a newborn, I love making people's faces drop when they say 'oooo he is a new one?' and I say 'noooo, he is 4 months old!!' their mouths always drop!!
