toddler average shoe size..........

Had DD's feet measured today, was a bit shocked to find her feet are size 9 (she is 2 and a half). They seem to have grown one and a half sizes in about 5 months! And it was the Clarks machine, so i would imagine that you can't get an erroneous measurement on this?

Will anybody share their toddlers feet sizes with me, so i know whether this is average or I am going to be buying very large shoes in the future!

Ds is 19mo and his feet are exceptionally wide, I'd say about an 8 in length but so wide that clarks don't make shoes to fit him, we are currently under orthotics at our local hospital who have tailormade him some shoes x

17th month old in size 5. Going to take her to get measured at the weekend as I think they're getting a bit small.

Lots of variation on this thread!

Mine is 22 months and just growing into size 7. He's got wide feet though so length would probably only be a 5, he just needs bigger ones for the width!

My children seem to have small feet. Ds2 is 2.1 and he has size 5 feet. Dd is 6 and has size 8.5 feet and ds1 is 8 with size 13.5.

I havent A clue really

I got both children measured last week and did it in three shops. Also got my feet measured
The little one is a size 7F, 8.5E and '9 on the bigger foot with narrow feet'
The bigger one is a size 13, a size 1.5 and narrower than the narrowest fit, and a size 2E.
I am a size 5 normal fit, size 5.5 wide fit and a size 6.

I am not sure how all these things can be true.
Currently we have shoes in enough sizes to fill shoe shops and I still don't think any of them fit properly.

Ds is 3.5 at 19 months! He's quite tall too. They also haven't grown since December. I'm quite worried about his feet now...

My 3.5yr old was measured as a 6.5I!! at Clarks the other week (he has a high instep) so he's wearing a 7H but his 20m yr old brother is wearing 5G so he'll probably overtake him soon. Does anyone else have a child with hugely wide feet and does it get any better as they get older? We're qutie lucky as we have an independent shoe shop nearby that does Ricosta shoes which are naturally very wide but I wonder how difficult it's going be to get shoes for him when he's older!

My D.S is 2.8 and in size 9.5G. I don't think he will be as short as DH. Either that or he will be short with massive feet!

DD is 3.3 and shoe size 11.5 She's going to be tall... (She had sort of average feet until 2.6 and then she just started growing very fast - suddenly went up to 10 from 7.5)
