For a boy. I’m all finished having DC but I keep thinking about it. Would it have been a terrible mistake?

It doesn't really feel like a name to me, more of a nickname.

All Katie Price's children (except Harvey) have nickname-names - Junior, Princess, Jet, Bunny. Really not keen on any of them.

I'm not keen on Jet, mainly because its a family members dog and I can't get that out of my mind! I used to know a little boy named Jedd, I thought it was really cute and different.

Ooh I like it! I'd probably want to spell it Jett though?

Reminds me of Katie price too! Not a fan personally, but different strokes for different folks.

I know a woman who's ds is called Jet (short for Jetson) I think it's a really cool name, but he is a very cool ten year old. His dm owns a vintage clothes shop, so he's always decked out in super cool retro threads. He's gorgeous!

So it’s quite split. I still really like it but I agree he’d have to be really cool or really geeky (which I think it really cool actually Smile). Oh well, the time has passed but if I had another boy I would probably do it (DP would likely veto). There are wire things than growing up to be a gladiator. Wink

Gladiators, are you ready?!

Seriously tho, they'd have to be super cool to carry off that name and I wouldn't want to lumber my child with that pressure. I personally don't particularly like it either, it's a bit pet dog sounding.

Reminds me of Katie Price, I think one of hers is called Jet.

It's a very popular name for a dog. And sounds odd when people drop the 't'.

Report
bridgetreilly · 22/02/2018 15:30

It's fine for his Gladiator name.

Both Katie Price and John Travolta have kids called Jet, so make of that what you will...
