Darcie or Hayleigh?

Please don't tell me that I'm trying to be unique... I'm not - I just prefer these spellings. Darcie or Hayleigh? That's all I'm looking for Smile

I think both are really ugly sounding

TaliZorah · 27/12/2015 19:46

I went to school with a Hayleigh. No comments were made about the spelling.

I think they're both fine but I'd personally prefer Darcie.

NHKX2 · 27/12/2015 19:48

The "names" you have chosen are not names. They are misspellings of names. It reflects poorly on you, as the parent. If you don't care, go with either one. They are equally awful spelled that way.

Palomb · 27/12/2015 19:50

Hayleigh looks two seperate words. Hayley is much nicer.

I don't actually mind Darciey

ghnocci · 27/12/2015 19:50

Both names are pretty dreadful even with the correct spellings. Uniquing them up doesn't improve them.

MaddieLouLou · 27/12/2015 19:51

Lol, I clearly stated I'm not doing it to be unique, but okay.

Madelyn looks like two seperate words too though so maybe that's your thing.

You just have to chose names you like.

donajimena · 27/12/2015 19:52

Chlamydia is very pretty when its written down...

ovenchips · 27/12/2015 19:56

I dislike Darcie the least. How about that for an answer which doesn't comment on the ahem, spelling?Grin

PurpleDaisies · 27/12/2015 19:58

Darcie is marginally better if you are dead set on those spellings.

SillyBub · 27/12/2015 19:59

Wow, your first DD grew up quickly, you were only debating Madilyn as a baby name on the 1st December and now she's at school you also repeatedly told everyone off for discussing the spelling which you insisted was not unique Hmm

llhj · 27/12/2015 20:00

Didn't you start another thread winding people up with weird spellings? I seem to remember your nonsense before? Give over will you.

llhj · 27/12/2015 20:01

x post. We're onto you love.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 27/12/2015 20:02

Aw I don't think there's anything wrong with them! I'd go Hayleigh, I think there's fewer of them around than Darcies, and I prefer the way it sounds.

MaddieLouLou · 27/12/2015 20:02

My daughter is Madelyn, not Madilyn and what posts are you on about? Confused

OP posts:
NerrSnerr · 27/12/2015 20:02

Bloody hell. If you're that bored you have to make up a baby name thread. At least make your troll thread interesting!

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 27/12/2015 20:02

Darcie if you must
Both spellings are shit

twirlypoo · 27/12/2015 20:03

I know a stripper called hayleigh! She's very lovely, so I would say that. However, like I said, it's her stripper name so there is that connotation.

MaddieLouLou · 27/12/2015 20:04

Woah, what's with the massive attack on being a troll? Just because I don't like spellings you like? How childish.

We do have a baby names troll. S/he is around A LOT atm. S/he likes unique spellings and winding people up. It's a niche hobby.

MaddieLouLou · 27/12/2015 20:10

I like unique spellings, must be me then.

Yes, because it is you. You could have tried being more original with your username and posting style if you wanted us to play along
