Its an older name but might come back in fashion again. Its more traditional and personally I prefer traditional names . Its your choice , your child and patrizia is lovely as well.

I have name changed as am outing myself massively. I'm Irish, from a big family. I am under 40, and called Pat, but get Patricia where I live now-different city. I'm not mad on Pat either-agree with Pat Butcher!
But I don't think of Patricia as that awful!!
I have lovely younger cousins called Patty-adorable fruit loop, and Patsy-gorgeous and clever.
Also have a friend just turned 40 and she is Trish. And I wish everyone could have someone like her in their lives. Amazing friend and mum.
So maybe because I like so many people called variants of Patricia that I like the name? And maybe Patricia's turn out to be fabulous people?

I really don't like it. It's dated and frumpy as opposed to vintage or timeless. I would put it on a par with names like Sheila, Geraldine and Bernadette.

Goes with the other names of that era, Janet, Doris, Mabel, Gwen, Pamela, Barbara, Mavis etc.

I don't have strong feelings about it either way. I don't like Pat as a nn (for male or female) but nothing wrong with Patricia.

My mum (60) is patricia and she ges called pat which she hates but people insist. She would prefer patsy. One sister calls her tricia.

I'm normally quite diplomatic but sorry I've got to be honest, I think it's awful. There are so many lovely names out there but I don't think this is one of them. If it has sentimental value then I'd use it as a middle name but not as a first.
