Is it really so out there? That’s not to say the bloke in the pic doesn’t look ridic.

I also would have said that it's for festival goers. Or as my DD and her friends would say would say 'I've got this for the fezzies'. Many people go all over Europe to dance, do drugs and wear bizzare things.

& I've had to change my style of earrings because they didn't work well with a mask.

As a 25yo I confirm that none of us wear this except the occasional person who is 'alternative' or tries to be different.

Festival style is different though and yes I've worn some bonkers stuff to those - Crystal headdresses etc. They're meant to be ridiculous (have never worn bum jewels mind).

Those bum jewels just look like she sat down in some gravel for too long.
