Generally I don't wear heels but on some occasions I feel they are required.

I need a pair of antique gold / bronze or red or coraly colour cute comfy low heels.

Any ideas people? PLEASE help I'm slightly at my wits end here 😜😜😜

I have these but they are only little heels. The most practical kind also super comfy. I can wear them for a full day at work happily and I'm on my feet a lot for my job.

I broke my ankle very badly over 14 years ago, while wearing heels and have been unable to wear any since.

Have I managed to avoid somehow being in situations where they are 'required' or have I been failing in meeting this requirement inadvertently?

My DD can wear shoes like Hilda's 😁.

I can't wear flats, as in flat flat... For the office I now wear a minimum 1.5 inch heel but nothing more than 3 I.

All M&S heels have Insolia which makes them totally wearable. This discovered this recently and it was life-changing.

I also hear proper dancing shoes (ballroom etc) are comfy.

Chie Mihara. Expensive shoes but comfortable.

It's a good idea to go for a shoe with a platform sole, this decreases the level of the incline and makes them a lot more comfortable. It also provides more support under the foot. It doesn't have to be a huge platform but you'll find it really helps

I find that Rieker shoes are often more foot-shaped - an innovative idea leading to enhanced comfort for those, like me, whose inelegant peasant feet have 'princess and the pea' sensitivities!

There isa trick to wearing heels (unfortunately it won't work for strappy sandals) but count the 3rd & 4th toe from your big toe and tape them together, it keeps a nerve in your foot straight when wearing heels and stops the pain in the ball of your foot.
It is odd but it works, if I strap my toes I can wear my crazy high louboutins all day as if I'm floating on air, if I don't, they're off in 20 mins as my feet are on fire!

Clarks have a sale on at the moment. I have always found their shoes comfortable to wear and I am generally a trainers/boots fan.

I fancy these myself though!

Years of practice everyone!

I have a few pairs of Irregular Choice, but does anyone else find the soles are SO thin?

OMG Hilda, I would class wearing those as a talent!

Op as many have said try the 'wide fit' in whatever brand you choose, they tend to be more comfortable (unless of course you have tiny narrow little feet). Put a shoe pad in to relieve pressure. I have heard taping your baby toe and toe beside it together helps relieve pressure, never tried it myself though.

Another vote for Hotter here! My mother used to wear them and I thought they were like old granny shoes but over the last few years, they've really upped their game and they do some lovely colours.

Bloody hell, Hilda! My back spasmed just looking st those!

The only heels I can remotely walk in are my Ugg clogs and Timberland Earthkeepers heels. The Timberlands are really lovely. Padded and grippy.
They're both quite clumpy still, but I'm never going to be able to wear something slinky.

I swear by new look heels, they're the comfiest heels ever! Won't go for expensive ones again and go straight there if I need any new heels. And they're all generally £20 and under too Wink

I have wide feet and find Clark's Rosslyn shoes in a wide fitting very comfortable.

I’m no fan of Mike Ashley, but you had weeks to send it back and get a new one...

I really struggle with heels due to a combination of wide feet and a dodgy ankle.
I can just about manage certain new look wide fit kitten heels.

I’ve had some really comfortable, but nice looking heels from Clarks before. They had a concealed platform and loads of padding in the sole. The concealed platform meant that the heel height looked high, but felt like a kitten heel. They came in wide fitting too 😊
