So it seems the average mumsnetter at the moment...

Breast feeds her kids til they r 10

Gets their tits out in Tesco (it's a woman right, they are just the same as men's breasts aparantly)

Loves and accepts people of all race, ethnicity, age, culture, dress sense, religion etc... but no transgender people(for some reason)

dislikes men and identifies as a feminist

Like to think they are liberal and free and natural and organic

Doesn't judge anybody at all ever (but is actually very judgmental!)

Loves teachers - teachers can do no wrong (to say so is teacher bashing)

Has the exact perfect relationship with their children (encourages independence, no tiger mums here! But never neglectful and always at the ready to call social services for other people's children )

Mmmmmmm Hmm

You forgot the constant showering (twice a day), clothes changing, towel changing after every use, sheet changing every day (ok a slight exaggeration maybe), no loo brush owning and kids that are total genius' or have SN (NOT saying anything against children with SN, but there is never any in between). Salaries are higher here than anyone I know in RL and the amount spent on yearly holidays was quite something (I gave up reading that thread after all the stealth bragging about household income).

Also you can never ever judge or have an opinion on shitty behaviour by others. You MUST always mind your own business. Unless it involves red flags or something to log with 101.

" had a photo of some stuff in a frying pan sent from DS1 in his first few weeks at Uni with a 'does this look cooked to you'? grin I bought him a meat thermometer for Christmas."
😆😆 excellent. Very slattern of you though to not ensure he could cook to Michelin restaurant standard at 5 years old.

Oh I know Fun, I knew the moment that pic popped up that I had let DS down, let myself down, let MN down and indeed let the whole of womankind down. Grin

Well i see where you're coming from, but don't think that's the average, just maybe the most vocal.

Here's mine

Breast feeds her kids til they r 10- nope, didn't breast feed at all, didn't want to. End of.

Gets their tits out in Tesco (it's a woman right, they are just the same as men's breasts apparently) nope. Never done this.

Loves and accepts people of all race, ethnicity, age, culture, dress sense, religion etc... but no transgender people(for some reason) yes, but also transgender folks, I've no bias I think. Dress sense maybe occasionally,

dislikes men and identifies as a feminist. Love men, would consider myself s radical feminist.

Like to think they are liberal and free and natural and organic . Well I'm free, whatever that means, liberal with some things, not so much with others, defo not natural or organic most of the time.

Doesn't judge anybody at all ever (but is actually very judgmental!). Yeah I can be a bit judgey..,

Loves teachers - teachers can do no wrong (to say so is teacher bashing). I wouldn't say I love em. But I would judge positively and try to work with them as opposed to getting my shot gun out.

Has the exact perfect relationship with their children (encourages independence, no tiger mums here! But never neglectful and always at the ready to call social services for other people's children ). I have a good relationship with my daughter, I'm not perfect, who is, but I love her very much, am very proud of her and am very close to her.

My mum's a teacher and I love her - does that count or do I need to love other teachers too? I'm trying to figure out my score...

My stereotype MNer is:

hysterical with health anxiety

Everybody in the family has some big challenge: a life-threatening allergy, crippled with anxiety, ASD, another disability, PTSD, etc.

Has been victim of serious sexual assault

Has either an amazing husband or a toe-rag of an x (no male partners inbetween)

Has either perfect children or children with many of the above problems so nobody's fault if they ever behave like shits

extreme political views (probably leftie)

obsessed with cleanliness in all realms & paranoid about being houseproud (except the ones drowning in clutter)

either spends £10,000 on annual holiday & privately educates OR so skint they couldn't afford a £4 charity shop coat

Lots of super high achieving kids

The skint ones have lots of wealthy relatives that take them on Shock expensive holidays

*oh, and the place is overflowing with perfect drivers. Nothing kicks off like a driving thread can.

Hang on... has anyone mentioned 'middle class'? You cannot have a typical Mnetter who does not mention the 'C' word at least once in her thread (or imply it).

Then there are the grammar and spelling Nazis - they may not be 'typical' but they are a heavy presence.
