I’m one of 4 (3 girls, 1 boy.)

My sisters are very pretty, naturally slim whereas I’ve had to battle my weight all my life, My face is also more plain compared to theirs,

Hmm. I'm different. My sisters are both more strikingly beautiful and whippet thin whereas while I am not fat, I'm definitely more curvy and more pretty than beautiful iyswim? I'm perfectly happy with the way I look mind. I'm the joker as well, and without sounding too up myself, I'm slightly more clever and I'm the funny one.
My brothers are both good looking men too. Good genes 🤷🏻‍♀️

Like PP said I was definitely not the pretty one growing up, but I've aged a bit better as my sister took her looks for granted and her lifestyle has made her look older, even though I'm 5 years older than her.

Funnily enough her looks didn't help her much in life, not the way I thought they would, if anything they seemed to have hindered her in various ways 😔

Yes I am. I'm tall and slim, look after myself, go to gym and eat properly.

My sister is obese and lives on chocolate and crisps. Doesn't work, doesn't get out of bed until afternoon, doesn't look after herself at all and has terrible skin due to her diet and crap hygiene.

When I was a teenager all the boys were panting after my sister and I was the intellectual plain Jane. When I did have boyfriends, some of them even told me they fancied my sister more! Nice.

One person was overheard saying "Captain's sister is gorgeous but Captain has a more interesting face". Mmmmmm thanks.

However, I just went my own way and did have my share of interest, relationships, and ended up with DC - my sister didn't and is extremely upset about it. So I can't say I had the worse deal at all. Plus I think I've caught up a bit and am happy with how I look, though it's not conventionally beautiful. As Claire Rayner once said it can be a blessing to not have great looks, you don't rely on it, you build a life that doesn't depend on it and you still have all that when you no longer have it.

Growing up both my sisters were far more beautiful than I was. They both took after my dad with white blonde hair and lovely big eyes. I was like my mum dark haired and covered in freckles and so scrawny. Both were so social and had loads of friends I only had a few as I was painfully shy. Its funny though I was never jealous I was always so proud of them and was always content with who I was, I didn't and still don't like having people's attention on me.

Now we're older people say I am the most attractive of us. I don't know if that's a win though as I'd do anything to have even an ounce of my both sisters confidence.

no, not by a long way... but out of the 4 of us, I am the happiest.

I have two sisters.

I have a fairly ok face/hair and a fairly ok figure. I look great when dressed up and made up but average the rest of the time. I need to dress carefully for my pregnancy ruined shape but look good when I do.

Sister one has a beautiful, beautiful face and amazing hair...but she is extremely overweight and unhappy in herself and has undoubtedly had the hardest time in life in general.

Sister 2 has got an average face like me but a beautiful, curvy, perfect figure and looks good in anything from a string bikini to a shapeless sack dress.

Sister 2 got the best lot.

Honestly, i don’t know.

My sister is naturally thin, tall, blonde. She has all the “requirements” for beauty. Most of our teenage years were spent discussing how she should be a model, how good she looked in whatever outfit. My mum used to send baby photos to magazines- even took her to several modelling agencies for try outs in her teens.

I was shorter, brunette, and liked sport so was muscular. I didn’t fit my mum’s idea of “Pretty”. I was put on diets and everything i ate was “good” or “bad” or “slimming”. While my sister could eat anything. I developed a taste in clothes which leaned to baggy goth, while my sister had the confidence for miniskirts.. “look at those legs!”

So in my mind my sister is obviously better looking. I feel short, fat and drab next to her.

But i do have moments where i think wtf. Yes my sister is tall, but she is a very pear shaped proportion-not model shaped at all. I was never that suprised when the model agencies didn’t take her on. Even though i obviously have issues, i have always preferred my body shape to hers, and have never wished i looked like her. Unless she’s dressed skimpily i get as much, sometimes more, attention when we’re out.

So i don’t know.

has terrible skin due to her diet and crap hygiene.

If you mean acne that’s usually hormonal and nothing to do with washing your face and eating chocolate. You sound quite mean about your sister.

No.

I have two younger brothers and they are definitely more conventionally attractive than I.

No. I'm middle. Completely average looking, non-descript. One brother is very good looking indeed. Other looks bashed and beaten up and rough looking.
Wierd really.

I am not plain looking, but my sister is definitely better looking/slimmer/knows how to dress well. She has far more friends and is more sociable/friendly than I am.

I am the more intelligent one based on academics and general world wisdom. She is 5 years older than me but often relies on my advice for most things.

It is fine. We are different people and it hasn't been an issue between us.

I'm the smart one. The other two are much prettier and are blonde, not dark haired. They're also both taller than me and one is very slim. They have nicer teeth than me and don't wear specs. That helps them out a lot, I think. It's never bothered me; I'll still be smart when we're all old and wrinkled! Grin

I’m definitely the better of us two I’m four years older but people think we are twins or I’m younger. Life has been kinder to me in someways, or you could look at it that I was determined to do well and have worked for it. My sibling has a different attitude of poor me and the world owes me a living. You get back in life what you put in.

No. DB is tall, handsome, never had to worry about his weight and takes after my Mum's side.

I'm basically my Dad in a frock. I'm probably cleverer than DB though.

It's not mean to think that seldom washing your face/hair and eating a packet of Jaffa cakes for breakfast isn't going to do much for the way you look. Neither is never leaving the house or actually moving.

I don't think any of us are classically beautiful TBH.

Dsis1 has a natural hourglass figure, but can't keep enough weight off to be as stunning as she could, Dsis2 and I share quite ill-matched facial features and bad skin and I could lose a stone or so, Dbro looks ok for the most part, but has taken the scruffy student look to such levels someone dropped a few coins in his coffee while he was waiting for the train.😱

I guess Dbro is the best of a bad bunch.Grin

Different Dads they look similar, I take after my Dad. I was the prettiest. Short, thin, light lovely hair. My Mum certainly never told me, but it was sort of obvious from other people. I would also say I was most intelligent. Strangely though one sister and I share a skin tone that the other does not. Genetics can be weird!
