To not remove my negative feedback on amazon ?

Ordered an item 8 weeks ago and it still haven't arrived. It was needed for an event last week so I don't even really need it now but I will keep it (if it ever turns up) . The seller is from overseas so I was prepared to wait that's why I ordered so far in advanced. It was estimated to arrive on 3rd dec. I recently reviewed the item giving it 1 star and stating I'm still yet to receive it .

The seller has now contacted me offering to refund half the money if I delete my review and add a positive one. I think this is wrong as how can I give good feedback on something I haven't received and don't really need now. I feel they are trying their best to help me. Aibu to leave my negative feedback and accept the refund?

Sellers can and do ask for bad reviews to be deleted. I once left what I consider a neutral review where I bought a dress ,I pointed out that it was a different shape to the one in the picture. Mine was a column dress and the picture had a flared skirt.Idid say it was good value though. About 2 weeks later I received an email from Amazon saying that my review breached community standards.

It really fucks me off that so many things on amazon and ebay are from the other side of the fucking world and its not always immediately obvious, especially on amazon, or theyre hugely optimistic about their delivery dates, or theyre from places that have no idea about UK sizing, and a general population of tiny people.
I am getting so fucked off with online shopping

The reviews on Amazon are supposed to be reviewing the product, not the delivery service. I'd take it off.
