OH and small child were let loose in paperchase to purchase a gift for a teacher. Can't go wrong with stationery, I thought. Oh yes you bloody can!

OH swears he didn't realise that the mushroom(?) was phallic shaped.

To be honest I don't blame him for not wanting to swap them. So he can take them to bloody work instead. How do you like them apples, Mr Broadside?

Has anyone else noticed that they are now out of stock Grin. I wonder how many teachers will be getting those at the end of the week?

OP when you think how most parents blend into one from a teacher perspective, at least being known as the penis parents would make you memorable enough for a retirement speech Grin

Go for it! It would give our staffroom a whole breaking of mirth. We're a sordid bunch (who can't look at lucozade bottles without sniggering)

I think it's hilarious and will bypass Paperchase on my commute home to check their stock

the teachers need all the laughs they can get these days so give them to him. Grin

Not sure how people are seeing onions - it's clearly a blushing pink penis with a dummy. If you look at some of the other products in the range the same design is referred to as a mushroom so I'm thinking this description is wrong.

I'm a teacher and would love them! As others have said, perfect for marking SLT documents, detentions etc..

Send it in! The teacher will love it as stationary, or it will give her a good laugh. Either way its a win!

Bit late now but if you want this sort of thing again you can get them really cheaply on ebay - from about 99p for two sets (or 99 cents if you use the american ebay) but you need to be able to wait for them to come from China/etc so need to order well in advance.

These ones are supposed to be fingers with faces on but rate pretty highly on the phallic shape scale:

However there are lots of others that are more child friendly - animals, watches, flowers, plasters, etc:
www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=cute+post+it&_sop=15

(and having looked there's at least one uk supplier that sells them 2 packs for less than £3 and will get to you on friday if that's not too late - darn shame as ds2 breaks up on friday so will be too late for his teachers and they would love these but ds1 doesn't break up until next week and they're not the sort of thing his teacher would like).

What's even more disturbing/hilarious (depending on your POV!) is that if you search for 'happy veggies' on Paperchase you get 269 Grin results!

Why stop at sticky tabs when you could have...
