To wonder what the fuss is about with hotel chocolat?

I've been given a large box, obviously this is a rather fantastic present from a work colleague and very fancy/ pretty. I can't help thinking though secretly that the taste isn't all that. Am I the only one? Or am I uncultured and used to discount Thorntons as the ultimate treat?

Maybe HC will be the cause of the zombie apocalypse 😀

A friend recently gave me some for my birthday and it was yummy.

I love hotel chocolat! They do properly dairy free dark chocolate that that's pretty vegan friendly (I'm not vegan but can't have dairy right now so that's a good guide) and actually tastes delicious and chocolaty (not like some of the free from stuff - gah!) Even the "dark" chocolate at Thorntons isn't safe and don't get me started on the taste

I love some of the hotel chocolat chocolates, however I was given a big box for my birthday and was very disappointed. Most of them didn't taste that nice at all.

And they've stopped making my favourites so I'm not happy.

I love HC chocs. One or two of their dark, boozy chocs with a nice coffee in the evening is lovely. Thorntons (and most milk choc) are vile. Sickly & have this horrible mouth coating greasiness. Bleurgh.
