I bought some this morning. They're delicious. I've eaten 12 and I have a very painful tongue now. It's not dissimilar to drinking too hot coffee. But it's quite uncomfortable.

Is this even possible?

As in, I think that's what happened, but is it even possible? I think I've been burned by a tomato. Possibly not the most controversial AIBU of all time, granted. But I actually thought I was! And it turns out I wasn't! So I'm happy.

Geographic tongue. Possibly. I have this (much worse since pregnancy) and it means it is v painful for me to eat bananas/kiwi/oranges/tomatoes as it makes my tongue really hurt. I eat them anyway though.

I've sucked crunchies slowly and never had blood pour out of my tongue. I'm loving the crunchie suck. In fact, much to my husband's disappointment, it's one of the few thins that I will suck :)

Try sucking a crunchie bar slowly. The blood just pours out of your tongue. I have done it more than once too
