Prompted by a thread on Teenagers, which got me thinking that I'd have loved AIBU as a teen - in the way I loved Cathy & Claire and Melanie (in Just Seventeen).

If AIBU had existed when we were 12/13/14, what AIBUs would we have asked?

AIBU to snog my bezzie mate's boyf coz she snogged mine? perhaps?

AIBU to not believe Kimberley King who says she went on holiday and might be pregnant because she had sex with 25, 35 and 45yr old waiters called Julio, Manolo and Fabio? And even though she got her photos back from Boots and she has one of Julio with his arm round her but I reckon she paid him to do it because he looks really scared and she probably threatened to fart all over him if he didn't.

AIBU in thinking my mum is a right cow for making me come home at 9:30 on a Saturday night when everybody else is still in the bus shelter drinking cider and also for stopping my pocket money for finding 10 Regal in my pocket when I TOLD her they weren't even mine, I was looking after them for Esther and what's the point in me even speaking anyway when nobody believes a word I say, I want to go and live at katy's house cos her parents go away on weekends and leave her and her brother on their own and he is well fit but my mum wouldn't even let me sleep over there anyway without speaking to katy's mum first, I hate her, she is like the worst mum in the world and why does my dad have to get arsey with a boy if he calls for me, I mean it's not like we're having SEX on the doorstep or anything, i'm well going to run away, bet they probably wouldn't even notice anyway cos they totally love my brother more than me, bet they wouldn't even notice if I actually DIED.

I looked older than my friends so it was always me who had to go into the beeroff and buy sherry to drink at the park. When he asked me how old I was I had a routine of pretending to be flattered that he thought I was under 18.

South Africa

We also had catering, technical drawing, woodwork, sewing and home ec. The school went through some weird "erm, let's try teaching the kids that" phases.

I hated accounting, and accidentally put everything that was supposed to be in the debit column in the credit and vice versa during my exam once and had to rewrite the WHOLE thing.

You had an accounting teacher, Abs? Accounting?

What, like book keeping? We did typing, but accounting is cruel and unusual punishment, surely.

Where on earth did you go to school? Confused

Ahhh must be French teachers then, my sister was in London at the time. In defence of the poor teacher my sister's class was horrible and she changed schools pretty soon afterwards. (AIBU to point out that my sister is a lot younger than me and not only had I left school by this point, but it was a completely different one to the one I attended?)

AIBU to be pissed off that my best friend punched me when I saw her crying when we were watching ET at the cinema?

AIBU to keep my half eaten Highland Toffee bar in the top pocket of my blazer? The lint just adds fibre.

AIBU to feel amazingly smug that I got away with henna-ing my hair bright red, yet Hilary got busted for bleaching her (dark blonde!) hair lighter?
