I need to replace all my son's sheets and duvet covers with cotton. Doesn't have to be fancy but does have to not be floral. And it does have to be cheap.

Any ideas?

Thank you yes thought s! Just got into a panic reading the thread and wondering if only certain types were ok.

as long as they're pure cotton they should be fine - it's the same fabric as vests & T shirts!

I've been usin g them for her cot and it seems to have been fine but then I wouldn't really know if they were a problem iyswim as she has had them since before her excema and psoriasis started? Are jersey ones bad for excema/psoriasis sufferers?

jersey sheets are lovely & soft but they are stretchy so have a tendency to wrinkle a bit, which might be irritating. Maybe just get one & see how you get on with it?

Hi can I just ask about the cotton thing please? My DD has excema and psoriasis would jersey sheets irritate her skin? She has the basic fitted sheets from mothercare and I am about to put her in a bed so will be buying new anyway. Prefer fitted though and has to be toddler bed which is why I was going to go for mothercare ones again. I won't if cotton are best though.

They're fab, aren't they?

The only prob is that they insist on those square pillowcases in the duvet sets, which is a PITA - Ikea can manage to give us English sized ones, why can't they? (They do have some oblong ones if you buy them separately though)

Ikea ~ 100% cotton. Available in different grades and quite cheap. Both my boys are ok with thier cotton linen.

La redoute are good. Also Lidl, but they don't have them in all the time.
