*100 Day Challenge - Who's in?*

So I have been slowly but surely losing weight and am now on the home stretch to the event I have been losing for. I am setting myself a challenge to get in the best shape I can in the next 100 days (I fly out in 100 days exactly today so works out pretty well ;)). I would like to lose around 2 stone and get to a size 14 but I just will do the best I can to be honest. I am currently 13st 7 (size 18).

Plan is to eat fairly low carb but not Atkins strict and do as much exercise as I can. I did my shoulder in packing the other day so need that to get better before I can start again but I am booked in for a local bootcamp class on Friday so hopefully it will be sorted soon!

Breakfast this morning was scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, lunch will be soup and dinner meat with tonnes of veg and gravy (I can't eat food plain so even though it isn't strictly low carb I am having it!).

Who fancies joining me?

Noone? Well ok I will talk to myself grin. Weight dropped to 13st 4.75lbs this morning. If only I could lose 2lbs a day I would be sorted in a month!

Would love to do this but I keep starting things and then not being able to carry on.
I go back to work from mat leave in October too so its a good timeline for me too.

Yes I have been doing that Beechview. But I need to get serious now - 99 days to go and I am going to be a bridesmaid wearing in the colour 4th from the left on the bottom row. The other bridesmaids are size 8 or 12 and the bride a size 6 so an 18 will look really really big in comparison. I doubt I will get any smaller than a large 14/small 16 in the time left but something is better than nothing! I am just counting calories really, trying to exercise a few times a week (although that is hard at the moment as we are about to move and packing takes all my time) and cutting down a bit on carbs (not totally just limiting bread and potatoes).

So today breakfast and lunch were the same thing - a slice of wholemeal bread with a little light butter and smoked salmon, dinner will be lean lamb steak with veg and gravy.

Day 3 of 100. Same weight as yesterday. Breakfast was slice of bread and smoked salmon, snack of some crisps (naughty!), same lunch as breakfast, dinner is loads of veg with a piece of chicken and a small amount of pots. Also had 3 vodka and diet cokes.

Really need to make my lunch more nutritious but am always in a rush and grab the quickest thing!

I'll hop on board as well, I need some support & inspiration. I've already started Couch to 5K, so will join you on the healthy eating & try to stick with it.

I've cut down portion sizes & am eating less junk & fewer carbs. My downfall is evening snacking with wine, so I will be working on cutting that out.

Hooray! We are well on the way to being slimmer and fitter by the end of September! If I can get 2 stone off this time then I will do another to get another 2 off in time for early Jan 2014!

I am struggling to fit exercise in every day. I managed a 45 min fast walk toda but I really need to pack the house and it takes precedence at the moment! I have the shred DVD so if I start next Frida I can do 3 lots of the 30 days which should help and I will walk as much as I can, aiming to start jogging slowly.

I am currently 12st10 and a size 14 (no really, I must have dense bones grin)

Would love to start the Cardiff half marathon on Oct 7th weighing under 11st.

I'm going to be doing mostly paleo and running millions of miles.

I would love to do something like paleo but to make simple food like that more palatable takes too much effort for me. I am more of a chuck in the oven or buy a premade sarnie type of girl grin

13st 3.5 this morning.

Bloody kids ate all my smoked salmon and I couldn't stomach the thought of scrambled eggs so I grabbed an egg mayo sarnie from M&S. Soup for lunch I think - need to take it easy on the bread since I am supposed to be cutting carbs!

Hope you are all doing well. I am getting some exercise today by doing yet more packing. Fun times.

I'm in...weighing the heaviest I have ever been at 11.10 (yesterday). I eat crap, drink waaaaay too much and I'm lazy. Is there hope for me? sad

2 bags of crisps for lunch here angry

Still within my cals but the lower carb, more healthy bit is harder than I thought. I need to do some smart shopping next week so I have better snacks to hand!

Right I'm in from tomorrow. I can't today as I'm at a family party today and just have to eat whatever is here.

I went clothes shopping on Thurs with a slim friend and I looked horrible and lumpy in everything I tried on.
I also had a coffee morning with some friends the other morning and out of 6 of us, I was the only one over size 10. I'm also the only one who's got a young baby but I don't want to be in the same situation 6 months down the line.

I'm just doing the eat less, move more diet.

I won a Fitbit flex from the Mumsnet discussion boards (Yay! don't think I've ever won anything before!) so am keen to get started with that. Hopefully it will encourage me to be really active and the weight will drop off <dreams of easy weight loss>

I joined weight watchers on Thursday. did a big gulp when I found out my weight 12,9
Oh well, that's 3 stone to get back to all the clothes that are in suitcases in my loft that I love!

I went to spinning class yesterday and out on the bike today

I'm in, sounds like just what I need. Going away at the start of October .... child freegrin !! The only problem is, out of the other couples going, the women are all size 8 and 10. I'm a 14 on a good day!! Don't want to spoil what could be a fantastic long weekend because I feel like a blob!! Going for the eat less, move more approach. Have also started the couch to 10k so hope that will help!

I'll give it a go! Today I'm going to run around a small quiet park with the pram - only 10 minutes but it's a start! I need to lose 2 stone of baby weight. I will also cut out just bread and putting sugar in my tea for the first 5 days, that's a small clear goal I can set my mind too and if I manage it I will try extend and add some others. I have gained around a stone this year, I'd like to lose that.
I'm going to move more and eat wisely, if it's not nutritious, it's not going in.

I've eaten a packet of Jaffa cakes already today.

How is everyone getting on? I had a few wines today but made them spritzers and dinner was at pizza express so I had the melanzana parmigiana which is 500 cals.

Went to get measured today and the bride has decided she hates the dresses - arrggghhh! Likes this instead which I hate and will look shit in Need to get some major arm toneage in the next 14 weeks sad
