I have Betty, a gorgeous Pug x French Bulldog. She's 8 months old, pretty smelly too and has an overshot jaw! People say she's not much of a looker, but they're clearly wrong Grin. She adores our cat and she goes to doggy day care one day a week which has really helped with her socialising.

We have a very fluffy year old Doodle. Mostly black but going chocolatey round the chops!

18 month old Staffy. He's a weird mix of tan and blue.

They're my babies. Pics on profile.

I have a white SBT, she's scared of birds, cats and rain (at the moment she wont go out because its raining), she likes to sit on my lap like a lap dog but is too big. She's very naughty, likes to eat my plant pots in the garden, she never barks and spends half the day asleep with the cat by her side (she's not scared of our cat, just others).

I have a white and tan Springer X staffy who is mentally challenged Grin Hmm
She barks at other dogs, scared of the gerbil, dislikes some men but loves others, hates goinf for a pee in the rain but will chase a ball even if pissing down Hmm
She sheds fur everywhere and nicks dh's shoes and takes them to bed for a cuddle Grin

She spens 75% of her time in her bed asleep or just being lazy and refuses to get up before about 9am!!

I love her loads and she fits in so well with our life Grin

i have a black patterdale terrier. He is quite a scruffy dog (his teacher at dog school called him a toilet brush :( ) He has a cute little beard, eyebrows and sprouty furr ears. Hes a softy who will snuggle up with me on the sofa while he sleeps. But the tiniest of noises outside (bin day on a wednesday is worst!) he barks like a dog possessed and takes ages to settle. He is. Essentially, daft as a brush!

We've got Ebo - 12 yr old black Lab/GSD/Newfie cross.

He's actually DP's dog, who he's had from a tiny puppy.

I had a puppy from from the same litter, but he was rehomed 6 years ago to some very good friends. The litter was born on a road protest site in 1999, and then when I settled down to live in a house 5 years later he just couldn't adjust at all Sad and was taken on by some very good friends who are still travelling

Anyway. Ebo is ace. He's big and fluffy and has the silkiest of silky ears and the most soulful brown eyes. He doesn't play ball or stick, he considers it beneath him. He likes eating compost and he is scared of cats Hmm He snores loudly and sneezes as a greeting. He also only barks about twice a year - no exaggeration - and is the best tempered dog ever. He likes to carry bags of shopping in his mouth and will nuzzle your hand until you let him have something to carry if you take him shopping. Oh and he loves swimming but has an unfortunate tendency to try and 'rescue' us, think that's the Newfie coming out.

He has been the best friend to DP over the last 12 years - DP was homeless and had a serious alcohol problem and slept rough for years in the past, but Ebo never went without food and love and a place in the sleeping bag.

He is snoring in front of our wood burner as I type Grin

I will post a picture later as he is really rather gorgeous [biased]

i have a 14yr old jrt who thinks she is about 6. she was an only dog for 8yrs and wasnt impressed when we rescued another! she is an amazing dog and great with ds (who has asd) when he was little. ds used to get very anxious going new places and even the school let us take the dog before he started to have a look around the classroom. ds said 'my best friend can check if its ok' and if she likes it then i will go. we made sure the dog liked the new school Wink i really dont know what i would do without her as ds will be distraught

middle dog is dopey, softie collie x. he is scared of most things - black bins, skips, postman, wind, leaves........ but he is lovely

youngest baby dog is a tiny jrt. he is very clever. he loves agility and he does jobs around the house for me. he loves to learn and follows me everywhere inc the loo. when i get out of the shower he licks my feet dry!

I have Rupert who is a Bulldog aged 19 months, he weighs nearly four stone and is incredibly nosy and energetic.

He has converted DH who believed he was allergic to dogs and didn't particularly like them, now he's as soppy about dogs as me.
