I'm not sure who is doing a duet with who though. Or if that will be tomorrow. Or if Nicole will be half-cut on stage singing 'it should have been me' during Sam's set.
I am feeling a bit better this week- though lingering headaches remain. I haven't had a drink for a fortnight, and can't really face the final sober
, so might get some mulled
and mince pies to tide me over.
I have so much to do. Two wasted weekends have left me with loads of stuff I need to sort. Like costumes for nativity plays. But I'm getting out of taking dd1 to her football match too bloody cold and dh is the manager, after all..

I to am disappointed at the lack of Stormzy, he is great.
Music I like Becky Hill- at least she has quite a recognisable voice, and has carved out quite a good dance career for herself. I think she's on with Pete Tong.

I actually put the tree up this afternoon (I know this is an MN sin etc,
and it must go up Christmas Eve at the earliest
but I am utterly unapologetic. ), I have always put it up on the first weekend of Advent , for as long as I can remember.

i wish Rai-Elle and J and J had got this far. They would have been more fun,
Dh just sat and watched us put the tree up. He half- heartedly helped when I had a bit of a tantrum over the lights- but he made the top skew-whiff, so I told him to get lost.
I get very, very stressed about Christmas. I put way too much pressure on myself for it to be 'right'- and it's always the same. By January, I'll be back at the gp, adjusting my meds, and promising not to get stressed next year.
Whilst dd2 is only little , I'm trying to enjoy the 'kid' stuff that the older two aren't so fussed about now. It's her last chance to be in a nativity this year she's got two bloody lines as a narrator , and I'm a bit sad about that.
Oh- and I didn't admit that when I went to our local lights switch on- we actually left about 5 minutes before the actual lights went on.
(Only so many Boyzlife songs a girl can take). So, I didn't see the 'tree' and lights in all their glory until Wednesday.
OMG. It's like the red light district. It's like our shopping centre has been sponsored by Iceland (the shop)- all the lights around all the shops are just red. The tree is tiny and white, with flashing red lights. It is quite simply the most hideous red and white vision of hideousness i have ever seen.

Music I know. I think Rai-Elle will do ok. And hopefully, friends of the thread, J and J will do just fine without Simon. But the fun factor is lacking.
Will be get a Slavko performance do you think? When they bring back all the 'novelties' they got rid of?
