Anybody watching?

Those snakes!!

Terrifying

PigPigTrotters Sun 06-Nov-16 20:29:19

Yes we are.
What a nerve wracking watch! Those poor little marine iguanas.

PGTricks Sun 06-Nov-16 20:29:27

OMG frightening weren't they. Was so pleased that last iguana got through!

SoleBizzz Sun 06-Nov-16 20:31:42

So nerve wracking and frightening!

So pleased too. Can you imagine being ship wrecked upon that island!!

The yellow beaked grey faced birds are adorable.

SoleBizzz Sun 06-Nov-16 20:32:40

I always imagined snakes hunted fir their prey individually not in a group like that!! It was fascinating.

WienerDiva Sun 06-Nov-16 20:34:44

I'm watching!!!!!

SoleBizzz Sun 06-Nov-16 20:38:38

I watched Mutiny on The Bounty yesterday. I wished I was in Tahiti. Now this glorious programme of islands.

The crabs.. wow

MargotMoon Sun 06-Nov-16 20:38:56

How do they film this stuff?? HOW!?!? The photography is stunning

ineedaholidaynow Sun 06-Nov-16 20:40:29

Hated the snakes.

SoleBizzz Sun 06-Nov-16 20:40:47

sad crab has been indeed.

Isitjustmeorisiteveryoneelse Sun 06-Nov-16 20:41:36

Me and DD agree those snakes are the creepiest thing we have ever seen including anything sci-fi

SauvignonBlanche Sun 06-Nov-16 20:42:10

I've never liked snakes but like them even less now!

SoleBizzz Sun 06-Nov-16 20:44:00

I put my feet up onto my sofa watching the snakes. I fantasised about standing upon a high rick and shooting the snakes with precise aim. Boom!!

Reindeerlily Sun 06-Nov-16 20:46:38

Jesus wept I turned off when them freaky snakes were wrapped around that lizard. Nightmare material. <shudder>

BossWitch Sun 06-Nov-16 20:49:28

Never had a problem with snakes. Those were fucking terrifying!

I like the penguins.

Goodythreeshoes Sun 06-Nov-16 20:55:04

Such dedicated parents ..

BossWitch Sun 06-Nov-16 20:57:46

Dammit. I'm now overly emotionally invested in the penguins! I could never be a wildlife doc maker. Help the poor, bloodied, broken-legged penguins, please!

lilyborderterrier Sun 06-Nov-16 21:03:45

Brilliant but harrowing, nature is cruel !

ineedaholidaynow Sun 06-Nov-16 21:04:00

Had to explain to DS that the camera crew can't interfere with nature sad

Friolero Sun 06-Nov-16 21:09:05

That was amazing, beautifully shot, it's incredible how they get some of the footage. David Attenborough's voice is so calming too, I could listen to him for hours.

I loved the sloth at the beginning, hope he found the female sloth in the end! And those penguins, that's just brutal living there. I agree the snakes were terrifying, I have a snake phobia so had the blanket in front of my face for most of that bit.

Can't wait for next week's!

Cocolepew Sun 06-Nov-16 21:11:06

God those snakes were like a horror film!

AnyFucker Sun 06-Nov-16 21:12:06

Brilliant programme

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g Sun 06-Nov-16 22:09:12

Wonderful, wonderful programme. Worth the licence fee all on its own.

WalkingToMordor Sun 06-Nov-16 22:36:32

Cocolepew that is exactly what I said to dh!!

SealSong Sun 06-Nov-16 22:38:37
