What TV shows make you laugh?

Im currently laid up and will be fir a week.or two, hence my TV obsession at thr moment. Hardly anything 'funny' seems to make me laugh apart from The Big Bang Theory and Everybody Loves Raymond (I know, I know its not clever but I find it hilarious). What makes you laugh?

I'm watching Dodd on 4od, following someone here saying that's what we wore in the nineties. All the men wear belts with their trousers.

I am confused about the ages. Haydn Gwynn as Alex would be 23 in 1990 but Sally accuses her of being middle aged.

There was an off the cuff reference to Jimmy Saxille being somewhat off. In 1990!

And their eyebrows are all (men too) beautifully shaped. I don't remember men (esp men like George) shaping their brows.

I loved it, but DH was like this He doesn't see how people eating their dinner and answering door is in any way funny

That happens us a lot though, I loved Gavin and Stacey, The Royle Family... but he doesn't get them at all. I think he needs to watch stuff with more obvious gags.

Lots of these are things I love from old. (Father Ted, Gimme gimme gimme etc). There are very few things on nowadays that I really enjoy so either the programmes are more crap or I'm just really old....
