No. You shut the door and leave it. Smile She will have a panic when she runs out of clean underwear at which point you introduce her to the washing machine.

NO. Close the door, like Sparkling says. Leave it. Only enter to retrieve cups/glasses/bowls/plates (only because otherwise we'd have none to eat off)

I know exactly what you mean it is hard. DS1 is 13 and hi bedroom gets in a real mess and I itch to get in there and clear it all up but it really is his job not mine.

You have to try and pretend it doesn't exist. Be strong. Grin

Oh yes, you may have to grab glasses and crockery.

So why does she hate you GROOVEY? What terrible crime have you committed as the mother of a teen? Grin

Grin like Sparkling says - did you Breathe? Look at her the wrong way? Emmm say no to a sleepover with boys (nice try DD1), or tell her to do her own ironing?

I bet GROOVEY bought the wrong crisps freddie, or mentioned Homework. Shock

Shock homework. I did that today. She's upstairs banging and bashing.

And I suggested she might want to put her washing in the big washbasket in the bathroom if she wants it washed.

I hadn't been in DD's room for 6 lovely, harmonious months. Unfortunately her friend fainted in the middle of the night during a sleepover last week and I had to go in. Even worse her friend's parents had to go in there.

I suggested DS1 may like to have a shower. Shock

Wynken, have you started going in again now? Sad

Sad Wynken don't cave and start going in.

Now, here's a question. It's Sunday night at 5pm. She has not given me any school uniform to wash. I have a thick head on and I am NOT asking for it.

Who bets she goes in dirty clothes in the morning?

No, I'm staying strong, it's been so much better now the door stays shut. She'll be down in the morning blaming you for the lack of clean clothes Freddie and claiming you have ruined her life.

Nobody will die. She'll tell all her friends how horrible you are and they'll all say no you're not their mother is worse because she did this and that and the other and didn't let them do blah blah blah.
