Hello.

Work do coming up and hoping to look half decent. I loved this this

with leggings and silver high heels. I'm only just over 30. Is it so terrible?!!

If it is,any suggestions welcome - I am pear-shaped,size 14,5 6, big bum, no boobs and my best features are my wrists (haha!)

Thank you!

Tell me you are joking???

He's an eejit who clearly doesn't want you going out in that outfit because of how damn HOT you will look!!

The dress is gorgeous! Admittedly I would do opaques rather than leggings but your outfit sounds fab!

It is lovely and leggings / heels are the right way to go. Never rely on a husband for matters of fashion...mine is certainly not "on trend". At 30 you are still one of the "young people". Much better seeking advice from a girlfriend who knows the difference between her "jeggings" and her elbow!

I'm 30 too and very, very young with it so tell DH to fuck off and wear the dress, it's nice and it's from Monsoon which isn't a shop for young people, far too expensive for the yoof.

Huh? I'd wear that and I'm 38...

OMG - you guys have made my day!

Dh is a great guy and saved me from a disasterous wedding outfit in the Summer, so was genuinely worried.

Will try with opaques, thanks for the suggestion.

Snort, I don't think the young 'uns shop in Monsoon.

Not silver leggings unless you a size 8 (I am not, sob)

LOL at elbow patches Heated.

Like everyone else, you'll look fab and from your OP you sound like you have a sense of humour and can carry off a 'youthful' look just fine.

Tights not leggings though.

NO NO NO...stick to your original plan...leggings and heels will look FABULOUS with this tunic. remember that in fact leggings as we know them started out as exactly the trousers that go with tunic dresses in different cultures. it's a no brainer!
