I am off to a lovely posh wedding this summer, and would love to wear something exotic

Any suggestions?Thanks!

Hmm, should probably add more details....

Ok, I am tall, size 10, pale skinned, no boobs .

Would probably prefer a dress, but am loving some of the jumpsuit things around.

And by exotic, I guess I mean quirky and unusual but still sexy.

Anyone to help me? Pretty please?

Oh, and also, I do have one dress I could wear, it is black silk, knee length, quite slinky, with small cream embroidered flowers on it, but I have given up on it because I simply can't find a jacket or cardi to go with it.

So any help there would be good too!

Thanks christiana, I like Monsoon, I just wanted something a bit more unusual I think.

The dresses are lovely, and I like the idea of a shrug, but the ones at Monsoon don't make me go ooooooooo! iyswim

I don't know if grey is 100% suitable for a summer wedding, but I love, love love this and you could accessorise with maybe hot pink shoes and bangles/earrings?

Oh, me too!! That's fabulous.
When's the sale though? I have £100 max sadly, they might be a bit uncomfortable on a hot day too?(it might be hot, you never know)

Ok, I have been pushing LK Bennett this summer for weddings as I love the colours:

I adore this dress and it sounds like you have the figure to make it look va-va-voom:

LK Bennett heart dress

I know that orange might not be your colour, but what about this dress from the outlet? I love the detail on the bodice and I think that only the smaller busted could carry it off:

LK Bennett Sindy dress

I love this - very Audrey Hepburn!

LK Bennett Choco dress

By the way, if you like any of these check out the outlet for matching shoes and jackets. They have some gorgeous shoes in particular

I realise that none of those are awfully exotic.

This is a heyoooooge bargain- plenty of cash left for shoes!

You could ask Darryl Rivers about her Anusha playsuit...

The white one is gorgeous too, although obviously that's a wedding faux pas.

How can I justify the grey one? Where else could I wear it? Help!

Oh, the grey one is immensely practical- work, play, erm.........cleaning the car? I have absolutely no idea when or where it could be worn, I just adore it!

River Island have a couple of nice jumpsuits, too- got to www.riverisland.com women: dresses/skirts/playsuits: playsuits/maxi dresses: page 5 is a nice beige one and page 9 is another grey one (can't link 'cos it's Flash.)

I think that this would look very different yet chic at a wedding:

ASOS Jumpsuit

LOL that's the same one as I posted above, Flo- it is gorgeous, isn't it?

I've seen that Anusha one Florence, it does look gorgeous.

The dress I have is probably nicer than any I've found, this is very similar, especially at the back. Which is part of the reason a jacket has been hard to find I think.

I have shoes like this but cream.

So if I did wear that, any jacket/cardigan/accessories suggestions that would go? I'm really stuck, I just can't seem to find anything that fits with it

Oops, sorry, SB - great minds think alike and all that

I love that jumpsuit. I can see Poppity wearing it with a floppy hat and peep toe wedge heels and looking very Faye Dunaway.

I refuse to answer, Poppity. SB and I want you (need you) to wear the ASOS jumpsuit.

Sorry, feeling mean now I can see why that dress would be tricky with the very low back. The only thing I can think of that would work is a pashmina (which might not cover up enough for a church do), a long silk coat or perhaps a jacket with a deep peplum?

Have to run now but will have a look later.

I agree with Flo and her machine! Get the jumpsuit!

I can't really think of another suitable cover-up for the dress, either (and I prefer the jumpsuit ) unless you go down the pashmina route, which can be a right faff.

Poppity,

I still love the jumpsuit, but if you insist on the dress then what about this Coast jacket?:

Sorry, cross posts. Just order the playsuit - you will look so stunning that DH will be powerless to resist.
