I loved mine in my 20's. Now I'm pushing 40, and I'm not so confident. Same with my leather trousers. I still love them

I suspect no, for most people. M&S seem to have a lot of leather dresses and skirts atm, not sure why .

I have skirt and trousers in my wardrobe. Both still beautiful but gone out of fashion. According to S Times, trousers are back in - but they must be skinny. Gah!!! foxsake - I'm older than you.

Every so often I get them out and try them on.

I think leather skirts/trousers/waistcoats are all hideous and should only be worn by Germans.

Leather coats are also dubious imo.

leather should be for shoes/boots and bags only

I have a lovely soft green leather jacket bought in Sydney which I stroke every so often, and a long leather coat bought in portobello market which I look at adoringly and have a long sigh. They all have some sentimental value, but I know, in my heart, that they have had their day, and I am just too old now.

I wore one out a couple of weeks ago, short leather mini, tights, t-shirt - I was wearing it in a rock chick stylee at a cool gig.

I think for anyone over 35 it's heading into dangerous territory.

Oh yes I have a leather (actually suede) coat too which I hardly ever wear.

If you are under 25, ok. Over 30 you will look like a saddo third-rate rock star's wife or a hooker

when I was 13 I asked my 53 year old mum why she didn;t wear leather skirts like my friend Rachel's mum. I didn;t understand why she laughed. then I got a bit older and realised that maybe leather skirts weren't for 53 year olds. then a got another bit older and realised they probably weren;t for the 40 year-old Rachel's mum either. I'm not entirely sure which of these made my mum laugh...

I think you are being a bit narrow minded, you lot.

Shoes and bags, shoes and bags ... pah.

What about belts?!

What about BONDAGE GEAR??
