Lulu, I got a fab one in Primarni, but I think I read somewhere on here that they are <<whispers>> not liked.

Muji do a great, but not very pretty long rubber raincoat with hood (detachable) Its so long you can cut it down to your chosen length, and the sleeves are cutable too. I'll try and find a link.

only a tenner, 100% waterproof and packs away dead small. I had one , its good

MrsBadger Fri 05-Sep-08 14:45:40

buy one without a hood (Land's End often good) and a £19 Boden rainhat

lulumama Fri 05-Sep-08 14:45:47

thank you all!!

i think if i had made a bit more effort, i could have found it without stamping my feet, but am still cross and cold from going out this morning with no decent coat.

Fimbo Fri 05-Sep-08 14:46:19

There is this. But it is pretty bogging.

lulumama Fri 05-Sep-08 14:46:38

now, mrsb, i do like the rain hat, and i have been wearing a hat.. but not a waterproof one.. is the hat comfy? or does it make your head all sweaty

MrsBadger Fri 05-Sep-08 14:46:48

NB that M&S one won't be waterproof

lulumama Fri 05-Sep-08 14:47:04

it is slightly less bad..

but i think it is so massively reduced as they have 20 000 left in the warehouse!

thanks for trying.. grin

lulumama Fri 05-Sep-08 14:58:08

i know pruners, it is ridicolous.. why are there wool coats with no hoods everywhere in this sodding weather..

anyway, how are you? grin

Fimbo Fri 05-Sep-08 14:58:24

It made you smile though! grin

Seriously I think North Face do a full length thing but can't seem to find it on line.

Try TK Maxx sometimes they have one offs.

lulumama Fri 05-Sep-08 14:59:20

it did, fimbo, thank you !

tk maxx a good idea!

WilfSell Fri 05-Sep-08 14:59:49

what is squillions?

I did a thread just this week in which a landsend stadium squall won , in close second a northface one. both over 100 quid though. but think of it as an investment grin
