I have shoe boots though and i am only 5'5 and gap ones elevate me to a reasonable height.Lots of lovely things in zara for funny shaped like me atm. Also top shop and gap today but was school uniform shopping with ds so couldn't stop

Agree with Nailpolish - vile things that unfashionable middle aged women would wear with boot cut trousers and a nice blouse!

I am fighting being a middle aged woman at the moment so am not the right person to post on here me thinks!

Don't be sorry they are only boots They are v stylish irl i agree the picture is not the best. They fit reqlly well as i have quite small ankles and can look funny in ankle boots but those are snug and will look great with thick ribbed grey tights and a full velvet skirt which i love.Am 43 so prob considered middle aged by some

I was going to wear them with bootcut jeans. Am 32 so not middle aged yet!!!! I tend to be quite smart and I need boots that keep the hems of the jeans out of the rain but at the same time ones I am not forever re-heeling. Can't seem to find anything I like.

I bought these boots from Gap yesterday. Great with jeans and a decent chunky heel that won't constantly need repairing. Mainly for being out and about with DS and wanted something funky AND practical. Great with bootcut jeans and also straight-legged ones tucked in.

Mind you, had to go to 3 different branches of Gap to get my size.
